Chapter 1605: Demonic Emperors' Derby
Wu Yu had lost one bronze pendant this time, but had rescued Wu Jun. Even if he was severely injured, it was nothing permanent that time would not heal.

Full Moon of Nanshan believed that there might well be nothing in Eternal Emperor Tomb besides the corpses of the eternal demon emperors. This was already considered a huge treasure for Wu Yu and the others.
Any immortal who was already at the immortal emperor realm would find nothing useful here.
"It’s still unclear who made the Eternal Emperor Tomb. The builder must have something to do with the annihilation of the Demon Immortal Realm!" Full Moon of Nanshan asserted.
Ye Xixi mused: "It wouldn’t be the Jade Emperor, would it? That Maelstrom Silver Dagger Sphere before was exactly the same as in hell."
"We can’t confirm that it’s the Jade Emperor. After all, these eternal immortal emperors would definitely dabble a little in epochal immortal designs. But if the Jade Emperor has a hand in this, if he actually turns out to be the mastermind behind the genocide of eternal demon emperors, then the secrets here are terrifying indeed." Wu Yu said, feeling a prickle run down his spine.
The prospect of the Jade Emperor descending to personally end the Demon Immortal Realm was a terrifying one. Why would he do such a thing?

All he could say for sure was that the Eternal Emperor Tomb must be an important clue. If he could probe into the secret of the Eternal Emperor Tomb, he might be able to find out the truth.
Wu Jun continued to tend to his injuries, and Wu Yu occasionally helped to speed it up.
10 years passed.
In this time, Wu Yu had not seen anybody come near their location. He had found a well-concealed place.
"I’m fully recovered, finally. Wu Yu, let’s head out. Sorry to have been a burden." Wu Jun felt bad. He knew that time was of the essence here, but he had wasted 10 years of Wu Yu’s time recuperating. The demonic emperors might already have accomplished something.
"Uncle Wu, please think nothing of it." Wu Yu did not know whether to laugh or cry, that Wu Jun himself was being so courteous. It made Wu Yu a little embarrassed.
Wu Yu sent out his 1 million doppelgangers again, to search teh area. He wanted to look for traces of the demonic emperors.
He had thought that they must have run far away in this period of time. He fully expected to take a while to hunt them down.
But to his surprise, his clone found something after a mere dozen days.
"Follow me!"
Wu Yu hurriedly headed for the clone’s location, at the same time making it hide itself to observe.
Because the disturbance was so huge, Wu Yu’s clone did not dare to go further ahead to see what was happening.
As Wu Yu and Wu Jun arrived, the two saw that all five demonic emperors were gathered. Shockingly, there were 10 demonic emperor figures!
There were two each of Olden Demonic Emperor, Unending Demonic Emperor, Perpetual Demonic Emperor, Celestial Demonic Emperor, and Dignified Demonic Emperor!
A total of 10 demonic emperor figures. No wonder the disturbance had been so huge.
"Must be one fake and one real?" Wu Jun immediately guessed.
"Indeed." Wu Yu nodded.
He used his Eyes of Fire and Gold to immediately tell which were the five fakes. They appeared as nothing more than mist before him.
The 10 demonic emperors created a huge din. No one could tell who was real or fake. Each person only trusted themselves.
This chaos could well be advantageous for Wu Yu.
For now, all he wanted was his bronze pendant back. He did not know who had it, but the disorder would create opportunities for Wu Yu.
The thick mists held many secrets, and Wu Yu had no idea how to access them for now. But he was sure that the two bronze pendants would make themselves useful, and so he could not afford to miss a chance to win them back.
"Let’s see what’s going on first." Wu Yu said to Wu Jun. He pointed out the five fake demonic emperors, and then settled back to watch.
Of course, he would not tell them which was real and which was fake. Besides, they might not believe him either.
In the chaos, the five fake demonic emperors continued to sow suspicions and fan the flames of violence.
"I, Unending Crepuscular Sea, am the real one! That "Unending Demonic Emperor" over there, do you know about the shared secret with Dignified Demonic Emperor? If you can’t say it out, you’re a fake!"
Wu Yu could tell that it was the fake Unending Crepuscular Sea accusing the real Unending Crepuscular Sea. His declaration of a secret made the real Dignified Lava Beast start to second guess himself.
He indeed had a secret with Dignified Demonic Emperor. They had once found an eternal demon emperor corpse in a void chasm in Demon Immortal Realm before. But when they went back to take it, the void chasm had completely crumbled, and the eternal demon emperor corpse lost.
He had never spoken about this secret before. Now that Unending Crepuscular Sea had said this, it seemed like he was definitely the real one.
The real Dignified Demonic Emperor immediately believed the fake Unending Crepuscular Sea, and turned to the real one. "So evidently you’re the fake. Die!"
It was hard enough to tell real from fake without the five fakes blowing smoke everywhere. The trust between the five real demonic emperors was already completely eroded, and they started to doubt each other and turn to blows.
Dignified Demonic Emperor attacked Unending Crepuscular Sea, while on the other side, the egging by the fakes had started a fight with Celestial Meteor and Perpetual World Tree teaming up against Olden Golden Mountain.
The fake Celestial Meteor and Perpetual World Tree were also fighting Olden Golden Mountain.
Suddenly, all were fighting. Unending Crepuscular Sea and Olden Golden Mountain were being targeted by all the other demonic emperors, real and fake.
The two demonic emperors cried out: "We are the real ones! Otherwise, why would the fakes come and attack us too?"
But their cries fell on deaf ears. The successful confusion from before had already ruined their reputation.
Eight against two saw Olden Demonic Emperor and Unending Demonic Emperor fall, heavily wounded, in short order.
But even so, the other three real demonic emperors were not in a good state either. All five were in trouble now.
Wu Yu and Wu Jun continued to watch from the cover of the mists.
Before too long, Unending Crepuscular Sea was again dealt a punishing blow. In order to save his life, he had to escape, and he vanished into the mists.
At this time, the other four real demonic emperors were not in good shape, especially Olden Golden Mountain. He was only slightly better off than Unending Crepuscular Sea.
Therefore, they agreed that there was no meaning in fighting further, or risk killing each other off.
And yet, they still treasured the bronze pendant, and so they were not willing to part just like that.
They had each applied their own seals on the bronze pendant. Only with all five demonic emperors gathered could the seals be lifted, and the bronze pendant used.
Therefore, they wanted to leave, but were unwilling to do so.
The five demonic emperors were in a dilemma now. The fake demonic emperors had caused all sorts of trouble for them. Neither did they have any way of identifying the real from fake. They could only make guesses.
Now that Unending Crepuscular Sea had escaped, they had calmed down and began planning.
Wu Yu was still trying to determine who held the bronze pendant.
But before he found the answer, suddenly another Wu Yu and Wu Jun appeared near them!
