Chapter 298: The Saboteur
The fans took photos non-stop. When Yun Xiangxiang said she was leaving, they took one big group photo, and only then did the fans who did not manage to take a photo stop.
The shop manager went away after taking a photo with Yun Xiangxiang, giving the floor to her and her fans.

“No plans for that. I can date whenever love knocks on my door.”
“Xiangxiang, what does your ideal partner look like?”
“Meticulous, caring, knows how to cook,” Yun Xiangxiang gave straightforward answers.
“What about his looks?”
“That’s the second question,” Yun Xiangxiang refused with a smile.
The fan sat down with his question unanswered, but not for long. Another fan stood up. “Do you have any requirements for his looks?”
“I am a visual creature. He must be handsome,” Yun Xiangxiang gave the answer her fans wanted.
The fans cheered. They were the youth. They would of course ask what the youth was curious about.
The atmosphere was getting cheerful. But it was about to be broken. As they were having a good time, someone shrieked outside. “Get out of the way!”
A car smashed the display glass of the bakery into smithereens and rammed inside. It sent the glass shards flying and hurt a lot of people. The car even crashed into two fans. But as the wall blocked it, it couldn’t come in further.
“Is everyone alright?” Yun Xiangxiang shouted. “Is anyone hurt?”
Song Qian had already made the emergency calls and ran to where the car rammed inside. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw no one being crushed by the car.
The driver sustained serious injuries. He blacked out. Blood was flowing from his head. Song Qian did a checkup on him. She took the first-aid kit in the bakery and did some basic tending to his injuries.
The glass shards scraped many of the fans, but they were only superficial wounds. Li Xiangling, Song Meng, and even Yun Xiangxiang bandaged the injured fans.
Song Qian went to check on the couple of fans whom the car crashed into. They were fortunate that the car was stopped in time. They were bumped, but the crash’s impact wasn’t heavy. The fans did not suffer from any broken bones, nor did they get injured by the glass shards.
The paramedics and cops arrived swiftly. Song Qian might have confirmed that the two fans were fine, but they were still sent to the hospital for further observation along with the driver. Everyone else cooperated with the cops and had their testimonies recorded.
The cops took away the CCTV footage. Yun Xiangxiang and everyone else was not taken away. She noticed someone was snapping photos on the other side of the shop.
She wasn’t in a good mood, but she didn’t lash out at these people. She consoled her fans and asked them to get home as soon as possible.
She asked if everyone there had at least one person accompanying them. Some didn’t. Yun Xiangxiang was worried that they might be in danger if they went out in a daze after getting frightened like that. She insisted on having Song Qian to send them to their homes or their schools.
The bakery owner was the most frustrated person here. This accident came out of nowhere. He wondered if he could claim insurance. But he was sure the shop had to close for a while.
Li Xiangling and Song Meng looked at each other resignedly. They were probably going to lose this job.
“It was an accident,” Song Qian handed the investigation results to Yun Xiangxiang at night.
“I don’t think it was planned either.” If it were, the car would either be crashing into her or kill someone and blame it on her. She wouldn’t escape the accusations.
Yun Xiangxiang perused the file Song Qian gave her. The car’s brake suddenly malfunctioned, and it crashed into the bakery due to it losing control.
The driver had woken up. He said he would bear all responsibilities, including the damages the bakery sustained.

The clip showed a scary scene. It was probably the footage the CCTV recorded. The nearest to the car was the one who was about to ask Yun Xiangxiang a question.
This student was a sheepish one. Yun Xiangxiang couldn’t hear him clearly, so she had him sit closer to her.
He just happened to be walking toward her when the car crashed the party. If he was even a moment late…
This piece of news also got on the current affairs section of Parisian news. As they found out that Yun Xiangxiang was an actress who was filming in Paris, the entertainment section made the report too.
Yun Xiangxiang was the first Chinese actor to appear in the headlines of Paris’ entertainment news with such an interesting entrance.
“I would rather not appear on the headlines like this.” Someone was almost killed.
“At least everyone is safe,” Song Qian consoled. “The outlet that tailed you showed their colors, though.”

Foreign reporters had better journalism ethics. They were not as insane as Chinese reporters, locking on to her like this was unusual for them.
