The taxi door opened and the driver got out of the car slowly. He was a slightly chubby man in a yellow short-sleeved shirt.
Three men then appeared from within the vicinity of the amusement park.
One of them was bald, and one had a skinny face with a mustache that gave him an air of cruelty. Their eyes gleamed with a sense of danger.
The last person caught Ye Lingchen by surprise. It was Younger Master Wu from Jiangnan Tannery, Wu Junjie!
“How is it? Did you bring her here?” said the skinny man in a voice as vicious as his character.
“She’s in the car,” said the driver. “Most likely too scared to get out of the car.”
“Hehehe, that’s good!”
The skinny man made a dissonant maniacal laugh, glancing sidewards at Wu Junjie beside him, and said in a cold voice, “You’re sure she’s the daughter of Wanrong Automobile Group’s chairman?
“Absolutely!” Wu Junjie looked inside the car, his eyes revealing a cold look of vengeance. “Although the Wanrong Automobile Group was secretive, Jiangnan Tannery is still able to dig out some information!”
“Excellent!” The skinny man nodded.
“Get her out of the car!” Wu Junjie ordered with a grim smile on his face. He walked up to the car and opened the door. “Miss Xu, please get out of the car!”
“Wu Junjie! It’s you!” Xu Wanqing’s face was pale. It would seem that she was in quite a bad state of shock.
“Hehe, Xu Wanqing. Even if my Jiangnan Tannery goes under, I’ll make your life hell!” Wu Junjie glared at Xu Wanqing. “You’re the little princess of Wanrong Automobile Group right?!”
“You!” Xu Wanqing’s expression turned ugly.
“Haha, it seems I’m spot on!” The skinny man approached them. “With that, that makes my job much easier.”
“Who are you?” Xu Wanqing asked after biting her lips.
“We’re from Sun Nation’s Earth’s Gate.” The skinny man’s eyes flashed a vicious gleam. “I heard that your Wanrong Automobile Group is researching autonomous vehicles, right?”
Xu Wanqing’s expression turned dark, an ominous feeling filled her heart. “Wu Junjie, you’re helping the people of the Sun Nation?!”
“What about it? It’s all because of you!” Wu Junjie had a crazed look in his eyes. “I’ve lost everything. This information can bring me riches and women. Of course, I’ll have to make the best use of it!”
“Well well, I didn’t expect Wanrong Automobile’s little princess to look so pretty!” The skinny man smiled teasingly, with a glimmer of perverted lust in his eyes, then stretched his hand towards Xu Wanqing’s cheeks.
Xu Wanqing’s body trembled while she backed off, barely getting out of the way.
Her eyes showed signs of terror, then said with a trembling voice, “We’re in China. If you do anything rash, you will die!”
“Hehehe, you Chinese have an idiom that says, “the worst is just death[1]”. It’s been a long time since I’ve met a woman of such quality.” The skinny man licked his lips, eager to push himself on her.

“Thank you sir for your offer.” Wu Junjie was overjoyed. He did not expect such a wonderful turn of events for him. He had long yearned for Xu Wanqing. At that moment he was running out of patience, eager to jump on her.

“Superman Y?!”
Xu Wanqing and Wu Junjie both exclaimed at the same time.
However, one was from surprise, while the other was from fear.
“Superman Y? What’s that?” The skinny man gave Wu Junjie a dubious look.
“He’s someone that just got famous recently. He seems strong and mysterious,” Wu Junjie explained in a serious tone, his mind going wild as though ten thousand alpacas stampeded within.
‘WTF! Is Superman Y this amazing?’
‘How can he appear right now at a crucial moment?’
“Superman Y, save me!” Xu Wanqing immediately shouted, seeing a potential savior.
Ye Lingchen stood on the high ground staring at them, his eyes displayed an arrogant look as he nonchalantly demanded, “Let go of her now, raise your hands up and surrender, or I’ll punish you in the name of the moon![2]”
Ye Lingchen had always carried a Superman Y mask with him. After all, that was a symbol of his identity. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be useful in this situation.
“Superman?” The skinny man was stunned at first, then chuckled. “What’s this? Calling yourself a superman after wearing a mask?”
“Come out!”
With his orders, people started coming out from all corners of the amusement park immediately.
They were hiding all over the amusement park. With weapons in hand, they all crowded over towards Ye Lingchen with a vicious look on their face.
Xu Wanqing, who had never seen such a scene before, was scared speechless.
“Hehe, a Chinese superhero? This is just too funny.” The skinny man looked at Ye Lingchen excitedly. “I think you’ve been watching too many movies. Today, I’ll destroy this superhero of yours!”
Ye Lingchen leaped and landed with a cool pose, his gaze remaining unfazed. “I gave you a chance. You guys…come at me together!”
“Brothers, get him!”
The thugs roared, then raised their weapons and charged at Ye Lingchen with full force.
“Wata[3]!”
Ye Lingchen raised his hand and sent a punch to the person right in front of him!
That thug immediately fell to the ground.
After that, Ye Lingchen executed a sidewards kick, landing straight at another thug’s third leg, causing his eyes to tear up immediately.
“Wata!”

Ye Lingchen was dominating. Each of his attacks cut through their defenses. All those within a meter of his body were all knocked down to the floor, incapacitated.
Such a scene was even more amazing than an action movie. The skinny man, Wu Junjie, and even Xu Wanqing were all dumbstruck.
Such a person was just too unbelievable.
Within three minutes, the world turned peaceful once again. The thugs were all knocked out.
As for Ye Lingchen, he lightly dusted his shoulders as though he just did something inconsequential, after which he slowly approached the skinny man.
“That…that’s superman!” Wu Junjie’s expression turned bitter, at the verge of tears. Without any hesitation, he knelt to the ground. “Superman Y, we’re both Chinese. Please forgive me…”
[1] 牡丹花下死做鬼也风流 (To die under the Moutan peony, even being a ghost is freeing *Literal translation*) This is an ancient Chinese idiom. The Moutan peony here refers to a woman. In this idiom, the general understanding of it is to show that when faced with death, one would choose to die fulfilling one’s carnal desires. As for the in depth scholarly approach, it would be to say that death is the worst it can get, be it getting killed by someone or dying from exhaustion under a woman’s skirt. Gah, idioms. [3] In raw, it’s “我打!”, which would literally translate to “I hit!”. However, with the constant recurrence of this phrase whenever he hits one of the thugs, we believe this is a reference to Bruce Lee’s “Wata wata wata” sound that he makes when making quick hits in succession. Also, it sounds cooler this way instead of “I hit, I hit, I hit!” isn’t it?
