After getting stabbed by a god-slaying sword in the heart by Angela Evans, the main vessel of that evil voice. Lady Evans was possessed without her knowing. No one knows when she was possessed and for how long she was no longer herself. Hei Anjing lost his mortal vessel and wasn't able to stay in that star for too long.
After begging the twins not to destroy the world as it was directly connected to themselves, Eirwen was pulled out of the world. Hei Anjing didn't know what happened after he left until his System had told him.
They followed their deceased lover's wish and didn't destroy that world without Eirwen in it. But in the end, they didn't choose to remain in the mortal world as the reason for it is already gone. Lucien and Adrienne who weren't able to prevent the death of their beloved, Eirwen Night's passing, had completely changed afterward. They don't speak nor react to anything around them and were just left dazed as if time stopped for them the moment Eirwen left them. Though once in a while as if receiving orders the twin sovereign would issue some orders and punishment to those who broke their decree. Aside from those times, these two were completely detached from the world outside the divine temple.
In the end, the twin chooses a successor for the position of Sovereign. They wanted to leave that place as soon as possible so they could see their lover who was waiting for them outside of this world.
Before the twin sovereigns decided to abdicate from their position as ruler gods.

Back to the system space.
Within that vast space of galaxies and stars, Hei Anjing had once again returned. His figure immediately slacked as he covered his mouth when a bad cough was heard from him.
COUGH!!!
Clearly, being stabbed by a god-slaying sword from the high tier world was able to harm him, and the fact that the one who wields that dangerous sword is none other than his other half, the effect on him is obviously not simple.

Zhi Yue asked politely, "Lord Hei, are you really okay? Should Yue inform the Lord An?"
"Don't bother that fool. I'm a doctor myself, I know my state. This lord is fine but I will need to take a rest. I will occupy the training dimension for a bit. If someone visits, tell them I'm busy. Once I've come out of seclusion I will continue my world-hopping." said Hei Anjing as he walked towards the training hall and entered a long state of meditation.
He needs to spend time to heal his injuries and reclaim his cultivation at the same time. Inside the training dimension, a hundred years from that place equates to an hour in this system space. The time in the training hall is 100 times faster than in reality.
The moment his host had left the system space, Zhi Yue's boss, An Liang appeared from behind him.
There's an ugly expression on his boss's face, it wasn't of anger or irritation but worry. Moreover, his target happened to be his host, Hei Anjing. "Yue, do you have the recording of what happened in the last world you had entered? Show me this instance!" said An Liang.
Zhi Yue was bewildered by his boss's words but still followed his command and passed the usual recording of events of every world his host had entered. This is the content of his usual reports whenever they returned to the Nether System.
"Ah! Yes, boss!" said Zhi Yue as he passed what his boss wanted to him. To his surprise, his boss had watched the report on the spot.
After watching the event recording of the last world, An Liang's expression turned even darker than when he arrived. He stares worriedly at the closed door of the training hall not far from them.
"This Lucien and Adrienne... Are they A'Ye's soul fragments?" asked An Liang.
Zhi Yue answered, "Yes. In the last world, we had found two fragments of the lord god. He was twins in that world. But in that star there is some weird existence, it was able to influence anyone just by ordering them. It is not a simple kotodama like Lord Hei possesses which could be prevented as long as you have a strong will.
It is more like total control. It could possess anyone's vessel and leave imprints to take control of them as long as one is imprinted they were unable to defy that voice. We didn't know how the Lord God's soul fragments got imprinted but they both had fallen under it.
They had both attempted to kill Lord Hei. Both attempts were successful. It was Lord Adrienne at first. He had sent Warden Lou's vessel to assassinate Lord Hei."
"Are you saying this assassination was successful? This is Anjing we are talking about. It is impossible for him to be assassinated unless he allows it too!" retorted An Liang.
"As the boss says, Lord Hei allowed himself to be killed. He was saying something that his soul had no compatibility with the light element," said Zhi Yue.
An Liang nods his head as he knew that because of the Mo Bloodline's immortality light elements made their unease.
"Their bloodline isn't compatible with yang elements like light and fire. As they were born with Yin nature instead. I am more surprised that Warden Lou dared to assassinate Anjing but if he was ordered by A'Ye then it is understandable. The first move wasn't done by A'Ye's soul fragment which is good. But the second attempt was quite bad moreover they've used a God-slaying sword which isn't supposed to exist in that world. No wonder Anjing is in that state." says An Liang.
An Liang's thoughts. 'His soul had already weakened to the point that unique attributed weapons could already harm him.'
Zhi Yue asked, "But isn't Lord Hei supposed to be immortal? I had seen him get stabbed in the heart twice but still got revived with no injuries."
"Even for the Venerable Clan like the Mo Family, they still possess some weakness. I will give you a few days of vacation. Take this time to rest. Just send me a message if Anjing comes out." said An Liang. "So that person finally showed his tail..."
Zhi Yue with slight confusion on his face nodded his head agreeing.
"Sigh~ since their souls aren't completely bound together yet, Anjing will have to suffer a few more times. This is his choice. We've tried to stop him many times but he never changes his mind when it was made up. Look after him for me, Yue." says An Liang with a helpless smile before taking his leave to continue his work.
Zhi Yue murmured while pouting, "You guys keep talking in riddles. I couldn't understand what you guys were talking about at all!?"
This System could only stay at the space and waits for his host to come out from the training hall. Day by day, Zhi Yue had stayed in the Nether System without doing any work. Since he is on vacation Zhi Yue has stayed in his own space binge-watching the romantic interaction between two men in his collection. His phoenix-shaped eyes were lethargic as always, slightly narrowed as if criticizing people most of the time only his irises emit coldness and shade of ice. Argent orb could only be possessed by the bloodline of the Hei Clan.
Now this man who is like the embodiment of both the blood and snow stood before him wearing an immortal robe made for the highest class of divine white silk from the mythical beings like heavenly demon spiders and such. The robe had two-color white and black with the white more dominant than black.
Except for the lazy feeling coming from him, there is this hidden danger behind those icy orbs staring down at anyone he is looking at. A dazed yet overwhelming gaze which is overlooking his surroundings gave everyone the feeling of being pressured plus the elegance crazed within his bones.

Hei Anjing asked after staring at the scattered snacks and chips around Zhi Yue's slender figure, "Did someone come over to see me?" turning a blind eye to his system's embarrassing potato couch figure.
Zhi Yue replied, "Only my boss, Lord An came over. But the boss didn't say much, gave us a few days of vacation, and just said to send a message before we leave."
"I see. Then add my message to yours. Tell him that he doesn't need to bother himself with my problems and just focus on what he has to do. I will protect my other half myself.Show me the world plots I can choose from, Yue." said Hei Anjing while with just his thoughts a couch appeared in thin air which he occupied waiting for Yue to give him the plots.
Zhi Yue saluted towards him politely and showed his host the remaining plots. After letting his host review the world plots he had to move in a distance to send his boss a message like he was told to do so.
After waiting for a few minutes his host had finally chosen the next world he would enter. This time he had chosen the lowest-ranked world.
"Yue, I chose this star. A D rank one." said his host.
