The squealing echoed inside the training hall as soon as the marshal had taken his leave. With Bai Yuyan in lead, the rest were surrounding Feng Jing with eyes glowing with the curiosity of gossip.
Bai Yuyan asked, "Jing, it's only been days since when did you get all that mushy-mushy with him?" with a mischievous grin on his face.
"What do you mean days? I just woke up yesterday okay. I got introduced formally the same day." said Feng Jing while lowering his head with red cheeks.

'Something isn't right? His demeanor had completely changed. As if he wasn't that smiling person from before.' Thoughts of Xue Ran while staring at Feng Jing with vigilant eyes. He could only feel detachment and iciness coming from the Young lord in front of him.
A cold tone of voice came from Feng Jing. It is a tone that wasn't heard from a supposedly innocent young man like Feng Jing.
"If you pulled that out then... I can only eliminate you on the spot," said Feng Jing.
Xue Ran flinched as he noticed that the aura around the delicate-looking beautiful young man in front of him is a lot stronger than what he has. He was shocked as he thought Feng Jing was a failure who couldn't awaken at all.
Thoughts of Xue Ran, 'What the hell is this!? Didn't they say he is a failure!? He is an unawakened one but... Where the fuck is this pressure coming from?'
Xue Ran spoke, "Y-Young Lord Feng. I am Xue Ran, a descendant from the Xue Family."
"Is that really so? I really don't care much what you do as there are too many of your kind around me but... I wish to inform you that I also know the identity of the man you served with your other identity." said Feng Jing as he just gave him an indifferent glance.
The words Feng Jing had spoken were thoroughly scary and left Xue Ran speechless. He was stepping back looking for a way to escape while trying to talk his way out.
Feng Jing, "This training hall was gifted to me by Grandpa Astra. The whole authority within this all is under my full control. You wouldn't be able to leave as long I didn't allow you to nor you kill me. The second option seems to be taboo to you though."
Xue Ran narrowed his eyes as he suddenly appeared behind Feng Jing placing a dagger near his neck.
"How can you be so sure that I cannot kill you?" said Xue Ran with an emotionless face and cold voice.
But Feng Jing remained silent and didn't even show any hint of fear within those crimson eyes as if it was soaked in the blood itself.

Instead, he saw those phoenix-shaped eyes squinted in amusement paired with a mischievous smile on the corner of his lips, Xue Ran saw this two-faced young lord about to grab his dagger intending to slice off his own neck.
Xue Ran was incredibly frightened by the scene he imagined where Feng Jing's blood spurted from his neck like a fountain. Before the blade of his dagger reached Feng Jing's neck, he ignored the blade and grabbed it with his other free hand, stopping the latter from pushing the blade deeper into his neck.
The palm of his other hand was wounded quite badly and almost half of the blade imbued within his flesh. His blood flows out towards the blade of the dagger, almost dripping on Feng Jing's clothes. He moves away before his blood falls on Feng Jing. He moves away fast but not fast enough as a droplet of his blood flew and landed on Feng Jing's left cheeks.
A frown appeared on Xue Ran's face as he looked at Feng Jing with dubiety in his eyes.
"Are you crazy!?" exclaimed Xue Ran.
Feng Jing moves and faces him with a smile. "As I have told you, you cannot kill me. After all, the one behind you would never forgive you if you do. Your mission after all is to protect me~"
Xue Ran felt chill in his body upon realizing that the innocent Feng Jing that the world knows is nothing but a facade and the one in front of him is the real Feng Jing and a dangerous person.

"Who the hell are you really?" asked Xue Ran.
Feng Jing ignored his question and said, "If you know a way to inform him of something, can you pass my message. Altair Sirius is my mate. Tell him not to be too hard on him, please.
Okay, that's a done part on my side. Treat your hands in the infirmary or something. While you're at it, grab that garbage (Navi Nash) on your way out. Join the training after you finish all that. You may go."
