Next Morning.
Everyone had made their stomach full with the breakfast made by the support team. It was decided that Feng Jing, Feng Wu, Solaris Vega, and Lin Yven are to stay in the camp with Tang Si and the two unconscious teammates, Shen Wen and Shen Lou, who are expected to wake up today. Just in case the Shi brothers woke up, Tang Si stayed to help the other to explain the situation to them.
Everyone agreed to that without any problems. Since they had enough inventory items, they would all focus on hunting and gathering resources. Once they've completed their quota, they should be able to enter the middle region a day earlier. Moreover, since Feng Wu is staying to continue observing the two patients his leadership position was passed to Qu Yeon.
Team 1: Qu Yeon, Tang Yi and Tang San.
Team 2: Bai Yuyan, Han Ling and Si Shen.
Team 3: Xue Ran, Qu Yul and Wu Liu.
The team lead by Qu Yeon would head to the north side of the forest. Xue Ran and his team to the east and Bai Yuyan together with his team to the west then to the south. Lin Yven and Solaris Vega made use to restock their weapon inventories and gears. This is because Feng Wu and his team used up all their traps and grenades to save Qu Yeon's teams. Thankfully, Xue Ran and Lin Yven also brought back some metals and energy resources for Solaris Vega to play with.
Now even if Solaris Vega was asked to stay in the camp, he would be busy with creating more inventions that would be useful for the journey in the middle and central region. As soon as the hunting teams left, he had locked himself in his tent. Sounds of tinkering metals here and there can be heard from the inside of the tent
Feng Wu cleaned up the leftover plates and utensils at the river with Tang Si while Feng Jing looked after the patients in the medic tent. At first, there was only silence between the two. Feng Wu's character had never been the type to start talking unless necessary. Yun Ming who took over this body isn't much of a talker as well. This kind of awkwardness between the two had continued until Tang Si spoke first.
Tang Si said, "Excuse me but can I ask you something? Feng Wu was it?"
"Go ahead and ask," said Feng Wu.
"Okay don't mind if I do but since there are invisible surveillance drones I will only whisper it." said Tang Si as lowered his voice and whispered, "Why is Lord Jing trying to hide the fact that he is a guide?"
Once this question came out of Tang Si's mouth, Feng Wu stared at Tang Si vigilantly and grabbed the senior collar, and glared at him. He asked in an undertone voice, "How did you know? Are you a spy? Which Clan?"
Tang Si didn't struggle much when Feng Wu grabbed his collar. He knew why Feng Wu was acting like this. Everyone in the Interstellar Oberion Empire only knew that Feng Jing, the youngest phoenix of the Feng Clan, failed to awaken as a guide but here Tang Si asked why Feng Jing is hiding the fact that he is a guide. In short, Tang Si is confident that Feng Jing is an awakened one.
"Please calm down. I only knew because of my quantum beast special skill. It's an Elf Owl which allows me to see someone's aura. Only those who aren't awakened don't have an aura. Sentinels have a grey aura the darker it is the stronger they are. Guides possess white the more silver shade it is the stronger a guide is. Lord Jing's aura is a beautiful silver tainted with black. Obviously, he is a high-ranked guide with a temporary mark from a high-ranked sentinel." answered Tang Si with an undertone voice.
Feng Wu let go of his collar when he heard about that. Tang Si was left in a coughing fit as soon as the latter had let go of him.

"I'm sorry. But you have to come with me to meet the lord. You should explain your side to him." said Feng Wu.
With some tears in the corner of Tang Si's eyes, he nodded his head reluctantly. Tang Si knew how serious the situation is now that the Feng Family knew about his special ability but he is willing to take the risk. Only by making himself special than the rest would allow him and his partner to serve Feng Jing more seriously.
Tang Si responded, "I understand."
With Feng Wu in lead, Tang Si followed him in the Main tent where Feng Jing is spending his time hacking the Federation's database with his light brain. He was a bit surprised when Feng Wu brought someone over when he told him to not let anyone inside. If Feng Wu brought Tang Si over means there is something surprising about this person.
Feng Jing spotted his work for a moment and smiled at the two who entered his tent.
"What's wrong, A'Wu?" he asked.
Feng Wu went down on one knee and pulled Tang Si over as well.
"Reporting. Tang Si knew about my lord's awakening. According to him, his quantum beast, an Elf Owl, was able to distinguish awakened ones from those who weren't."
There were no changes in Feng Jing's expression when he heard that report. Instead, his line of sight moved from Feng Wu to Tang Si who quickly followed his example and fell on one knee in front of his lord.
Tang Si spoke, "Greetings to Lord Feng. I am Tang Si. The youngest of the Tang Family. We are a small family with a common background and we are connected by marriage with the Qu Family. The relation between the feline family and bird family between us two clans are closely related."
"Bird-shaped Quantum beast? Are there a lot of people of your kind who possess special skills as you do?" asked Feng Jing.
Tang Si answered honestly, "All guides in our clan are able to see auras like I do while the sentinels in our side are able to use a skill called a fly, this allows them to float in the air at any time."
"Um. Not bad what about the Qu Family explained this clan characteristic to me. Then I will decide whether to accept your family's alliance to my Feng Family." said Feng Jing.
Tang Si was a bit excited about getting this kind of priority. Knowing that Feng Jing is a high-ranked guide even stronger than he is. He happily told Feng Jing all the advantages of the Tang and Qu Clan to Feng Jing. Feng Wu stood beside his lord and recorded everything Tang Si had said. There is a friendly smile on his ethereal face but Tang Si knew that this face is only friendly but only in a business manner. Feng Jing is unlike the other descendants of the Phoenix Family. He would soon be married outside like the eldest miss, Feng Yue who had married the Crowned Prince which means he would be outside the Feng Clan but still connected to it by blood.
Tang Si's thoughts, 'There is no need for me to personally serve Lord Jing. Qu Yul and Wu Liu would do it for the clan. I shouldn't get too greedy. It is enough that he is willing to let us in his clan as an allied family.'
"There is nothing else Lord Feng," said Tang Si.
Feng Jing, "I see. You may return to your tasks. After you finish all your tasks you should stay at the medic tent. I've healed most of their injuries. The rest can be healed on its own. They would be waking up soon. It's better that they see you as they open their eyes to avoid them panicking in an unknown place."
Tang Si bowed his head, "Thanks, Lord Feng."
"You may call me Jing as well as the rest of the team," said Feng Jing before sending the two out of his tent and resumed his work in Star Network.
A smile appeared on Tang Si's face and said, "As you wish, Lord Jing." he responded before leaving the tent.
The only ones left in the tent are Feng Jing and Feng Wu.
Feng Jing says, "A'Ming, I found someone that is possibly the vessel of Warden Lou."
"Can you please who it is, Lord Hei?" asked Feng Wu.
An entertained smile appeared in the corner of his lord's lips and his eyes turned a bit playful. "Major General Drake. The protagonist gong in this world," said Feng Jing.
Feng Wu with a straight face mumbled, "That useless shit is the male lead again!? What the hell is he doing?"
"Pfft! I will leave him to you," said Feng Jing while trying to hold back his laughter. "Since your role is to serve me, you following him will see as you are following my orders to repel our enemy."
Feng Wu bowed his head and said, "Please leave it to me, Lord Hei. Excuse for now."
"Go ahead."
Only with that permission did Feng Wu leave the tent of his lord to throw a tantrum at some corner. This is the second time Warden Lou had the vessel of the protagonist gong. But unlike the first one which he ended up being in a harem world, in this world he is the sole protagonist gong. In short, he will still have to follow his script to woo Bai Yuyan. Major General Drake who is buried in paper works suddenly sneezes blowing away the few piles of papers in front of him. His subordinates were running around in his office to catch all the flying papers and once again organize them. Colonel Drake Shiva, Major General Drake Ares's right-hand man approached his boss with a tissue box in his hand.
"Tsk! Who the hell is saying bad things behind this lord's back!" mumbled Drake Ares.
Major General Drake took some and gave his thanks to his subordinate.
"Boss, if you are trying to act sick to escape work it won't be useful!" said Drake Shiva whose eyes had black bags under them. Like the Major General, most of his men were busy with work. This is because Drake Ares suddenly says he wanted to resign as a Major General. The Drake Clan had to pour lots of work for him to remove the nonsense thoughts in his mind.
General Drake spoke, "I want to go to the monitoring room."
"No! You promise to work for three days. The General can only watch when the participants have reached the fourth day!" said Colonel Shiva.
General Drake compromised, "Let me out as soon as some participants enter the Middle region of the Star."
Colonel Shiva thought about it for a while and thinks that no one in the competition is monstrous enough to move to pass the event's rule and enter the second stage early.
"Okay. I will let you go to the monitoring room if a team successfully passes the checkpoint for it," said Colonel Shiva.
The general suddenly issued a command. "Good. Someone be sure to remind the ones in the monitoring room. You must report to me as soon as a team enters the middle region successfully."
The soldiers in the room saluted and collectively responded, "Yes, General Drake!"
What the colonel didn't know was that some monstrous group had indeed existed. They completely accumulated enough resources in just a day and entered the middle region on the third day.
