In the middle of the night, at the forest in the middle region of Planet Citlali.
A fast-moving creature can be seen running along the forestry being chased by a few men wearing all black all over them. These men were hunting the human child riding the back of the huge liger. Based on the size of the Liger, obviously, this isn't a mutated animal or beast but instead someone's quantum beast.
They were moving faster within the trees but still couldn't outrun the escaping quantum beast carrying their target. Seeing this the leader of the pursuing team cursed the nine generations of that child. He is yelling his orders as if losing them.
Major General Navi Itri yells, "Kill the young man! That's Lin Yven from the Lin Clan! If he returned to the camp alive, our Navi Clan and everything we own would perish!!!"
"But Clan Leader, that quantum beast is a hybrid type, We could never outrun it. That's a Liger, a Lion-Tiger Hybrid. It possesses an above S-ranked physique!"
"I don't care what you do, the child must die! Lin Yven is the newly approved aide of Feng Jing.. Even without proof, as long as Feng Jing believes him, our Navi Clan would be destroyed by the Feng Clan, Altair Family, and the Lin Clan. It would be destruction!!!" retorted Major General Navi Itri.
"He is connected to the Phoenix Clan. SHIT! Kill the boy!!!"
They keep missing their target with just their spiritual attacks and start throwing some weapons towards Lin Yven. Lin Yven in the midst of pain covered him and his quantum beast Liger with a barrier made of his spiritual qi. It was able to block both spirit and physical attacks.
But getting attacked from all sides would sometimes let a few attacks pass through his barrier especially when he was getting weakened by the immeasurable pain of his inside churning from the fatal attack that he got hit before. He once again pukes a mouthful of the body but this time there are some bits of flesh included in it. These are from the badly damaged internal organs.

[MASTER!] Calls the Liger.
But Lin Yven could only keep his grip on its fur tightened and reply only in their spiritual connection.

It is very bad, as their connections get weaker and weaker but for some reason, his master, Lin Yven, makes sure that he would be harmed by anything. His white stripper fur unknown to the Liger is now being dyed by crimson color. Now Lin Yven's life and death are hanging by a single line.

Back to the Camp.
Lin Tian had walked back to his family tent to meet his father and grandfather. He reported what the guards had said.
"Father! Grandfather! They aren't letting me out of the camp, Yve is missing! I need to find him!" said Lin Tian.
Lin Tang frowned and suddenly stood up.
"Come with me. This old man is going to look for the Marshal!" said Major General Lin Tang.
Walking off their tents this family of three had all come over to the Main Tent to look for Marshal Sirius. But there is no one at the Main tent. They could only ask around and learned that the Marshal had accompanied his partner to the students' tent area to meet his teammates.
Major General Lin Tang and the company had finally bumped on the marshal's group. They immediately asked for permission.
"Marshal Altair, we would like to find my youngest grandson, Lin Yven, outside of the camp. Please give us the permission to do so!" said Major General Lin Tang.
Hearing this Feng Jing instantly decided to come with them. He answered for his partner.
Feng Jing said, "Let's go! I will help look for Yven too!"
"Xiao Jing, you can't! Your body is not completely healed yet!" said Feng Yang to his younger brother.
But the former ignores his elder brother's words and stares at Marshal Sirius's face instead, only he could make the final decision in this camp.
Marshal Sirius sighed and said, "Sigh* I will go with you. Aside from us only Lin Tian and a few military doctors at S rank would go. The rest stay here at the camp!"
"Call Ying-gege, we are bringing him with us!" said Feng Jing.
After the decision was made, those who were included in the group had all gathered at the entrance of the camp. Feng Jing has changed his clothes to light armor while Marshal Sirius is wearing the same thing. Lin Tian and the other soldiers wear their own defensive armor while carrying first aid necessities requested by Young Lord Feng.
Within that group, only Xue Ying doesn't understand the situation. He was dragged out of his office by his cousin, Feng Yang, without any explanation after throwing some armor at him. All he knows is that they are going to the forest under the lead of his boss, Marshal Sirius.
There are few people sending off. Major General Lin Tang and his son, Lin Velvet were there to send off Lin Tian while Feng Yang was there to take over the authority while Marshal Sirius and Lieutenant General Xue Ying weren't around. Feng Wu and the rest were also there to send off their leader, Feng Jing.
Major General Lin Tang said, "A'Tian, my boy. Be vigilant at all times. The danger of the forest is at its peak during nighttime."
"A'Tian I'll leave Yve your younger brother with you. You must find him!" said Lin Velvet.
"I understand Grandfather, Father. Tian would definitely find Yve no matter what!" said Lin Tian.
Not far from them, Lieutenant General Xue Ying was stunned when he heard their conversation. He knew that Lin Yven is the Youngest descendant of Major General Lin Tang but he never expected to hear the name of the person he likes.
"Yve. YVE? You call Lin Yven, Yve!? Is that his nickname?" asked Xue Ying in surprise. Then he stared at Lin Tian's face with a frown. "Wait, you look familiar. Aren't you the one who picked up my little fairy that day? Is she living well? Ah, wait...something is wrong here."
Feng Yang who could no longer watch his cousin brother make a fool of himself said, "Lin Yven is that young lady whom you had saved before. He must be quite feminine looking when he is younger and you mistake him for a girl.
A'Ying I will no longer keep my mouth shut about this even the person himself asked us to hide it. You... You owe Student Lin Yven your life. The one who helps you cure your mania that night is Lin Yven."
Hearing all this Lieutenant general Xue Ying was astonished and could believe everything he was hearing right now.
"B-But... But isn't he a newly awakened Guide? How can he have precise control over his mana like that to enter my Spiritual Domain without me noticing!?" asked Xue Ying.
The straight-faced Feng Wu spoke, "Lin Yven is an assassin-type warrior. When it comes to precision he is even better at it than me. Moreover, Lord Jing taught Yven how to control his spirit qi the moment he and Xiao Vega awakened as a guide."
Xue Ying was left dumbfounded. He felt that everyone was playing with him about this but when he checked the expressions on Marshal Sirius and Feng Jing, he realized that everything they had said was true. As his marshal even gave him a nod to show that he agreed to what everyone had said.
Marshal Sirius said, "There were recordings in the prison room that time. I just removed it based on Jing'er's request. Ying, Lin Yven is the person you have been looking for all these years."
"Yven says that he doesn't want you to know it was him. After all, you had also saved him once before. Even though he likes you he never said a word because before he awakened as a guide, he is just an ordinary person. He doesn't feel that he deserves you.
And after awakening as a guide, he finally gathered a tiny bit of hope that maybe... Just maybe you'll come to like him as well. The reason he is glaring at you lately is because I told him that you had mistaken him as a little girl and called him my little fairy.

Unlike Feng Yang and Marshal Sirius who mince their words a bit nicer to Xue Ying's ears, Feng Jing's words are nothing but the truth. Xue Ying's face turned white at first then red then purple. A Series of emotions paints his face from shock to disbelief, disbelief to happiness, happiness to sadness then sadness to worry.

Xue Ying said, "Snow Fox, find me the place with the strongest scent of blood and lavenders!"

Then their figure bolted and entered the forest at their fastest speed. Xue Ying didn't wait for anyone as he made a move on his own, even forgetting his boss just now.
Lin Tian said, "I understand the scent of blood as Yve might be injured but why lavender?"
"Lavender aroma is the scent of Yven's pheromones after awakening as a guide," said Solaris Vega.
Before Lin Tian could even react, Marshal Sirius issued the order to depart. Summoning each of their quantum beasts they've all entered the forest and followed Lieutenant General Xue Ying. Feng Jing didn't summon his quantum beast and rode on the back of Altair Sirius's dragon king as they flew in the sky. Lin Tian and the rest follow on the ground.
A moment after the rescue team had left to look for the missing person, Lin Yven. Major General Lin Tang suddenly mumbled as he and everyone here heard the things Feng Jing had said to Xue Ying. They didn't expect that Xue Ying is someone their youngest likes.
Lin Velvet whispered, "Dad, doesn't this make Lieutenant General Xue Ying our future in law?" He received his father's glare and immediately shut up.
"We don't even know yet if your son is safe or not. Stop saying nonsensical things!" bellowed Major General Lin Tang.
