Chapter 391 – Benefits Of Being The Class Leader
I was momentarily speechless after I heard the main reason Rose Group wanted to increase their influence was to take control over all the handsome men.
Xing Xing asked anxiously:
“Brother Ye, iff they took over the west district, what should I do if they took a fancy to me and forced me to be their boyfriend?”

The class leader came to look for me during the afternoon break. She wanted me to go with her to the clothing factory at our school to test the clothing.
I was a bit curious and asked: “Why pick me?”

But there’s a problem if I take a closer look. If you have to try on both the clothes for both men and women, why did you arrange for Winnie to accompany you? Or were you planning on inviting both Winnie and Niu ShiLi, but since Winnie wasn’t feeling well, you got rid of both of them?
I feel better the more I think about it.
After entering the clothing factory filled with loud machines, a skinny male worker wearing a blue uniform, a blue hat, and a pair of white gloves was explaining the benefits of ordering from this factory to another student.
He might seem like a regular worker, but he’s actually the vice-director of this factory and also the husband of the director. There’s a weird phenomenon in the factory where all the male workers look okay, but all the female workers look appalling. Apparently, the hiring was all based on the director’s decisions.
The factory is hotter than ever in the summer and the large overhead ceiling fan doesn’t really help. The vice-director got cotton mouth explaining their products:
“We use a different method from traditional screen printing. Images printed with the traditional method easily cracks and leaves sticky residue. Ours feel great, the image is clear, and the materials are soft and breathable!”
“Can you make it a bit cheaper.” He seemed to be a male class leader for one of the third year classes. He looks educated but gives off an air of being a profiteer. The mole on his forehead just makes people even more uncomfortable.
“We really can’t make it any cheaper.” The vice-director said, “¥35 a unit is already the lowest margin we accept. If I reduce it by even a dollar, my wife wouldn’t forgive me… and you really get what you pay for…”
The mole boy interrupted the vice-director and said, “Okay, then sell it to e for ¥40 a piece.”
“What?” The vice-director thought he misheard.
The mole boy lowered his voice, thinking he wouldn’t be overheard as he was surrounded by the rumbling of the machines.
“You write ¥40 a piece on the receipt, but still only charge me ¥35 a piece, so I’ll receive a kickback of ¥5 per piece. Do you understand?”
How immoral. How can you betray your classmate’s trust as the class leader? I mean even if your class had 50 students, you would only earn at most 5 x 50 = ¥250. If you even have to embezzle ¥250, then if you become a politician later on, you would definitely be a greedy and corrupt one.
If you’re wondering why the class leader and I could hear his whispers, it’s because I already developed greater than average hearing trying to hide from the Little Tyrant as a kid. But the class leader was furious and walked behind the mole boy without any hesitation. She glared daggers at him and questioned him in a loud voice:

The vice-director, who was afraid of conflict and his wife, appeared to be half a head shorter as he trembled in front of Shu Sha:

He was quick to betray the mole boy.
The mole boy was enraged and pointed at Shu Sha and asked: “Which class are you from? You’re not a third year, right? Why are you interfering with your senior?”
The class leader looked at the mole boy with despise. Since he was taller than her, she had to purposely raise her head to stare at him like he was a pile of trash.

“You… only want to be popular with the boys?”

Even though the class leader does spoil her brother, she has OCD, and she’s hated by animals, the mole guy is still partially correct as she’s the closest girl to being perfect at 28 Middle.

The mole guy realized his attacks weren’t effective, but didn’t give up:
“You’re acting as a lovable and respectable class leader so you can attract attention and hook in a wealthy husband.”
Shu Sha laughed out loud, “Gong CaiCai is probably the one with the best family background at 28 Middle, so am I going to marry one of her cousins?”
“Well, you’re definitely different than how you appear on the outside. Oh right, I remember how you once tortured cats in the cat society when you were still a first year. This proves you have a twisted mind, and you probably even posted videos online of you killing cats by stepping on them with high heels.”
“Non…sense. I’ve never tortured or kileld cats.”
“Then tell me why you were kicked out of the cat club?” The mole guy became more giddy.
“I know.” the vice-director suddenly interrupted, “Before the cat club was disbanded, they used to host club activities at our factory.”

Mole guy trembled as if something on his body was ‘cut’, then he darted forward right into a position where he was surrounded by me and the class leader.
“Aren’t… you Ye Lin? What are you doing with the class leader from class 2-3?”
“Did you forget I’m also from class 2-3? I’ve recently also become the PE committee member for our class.”
I pretended to smile amicably, but since I actually look scarier when I smile, the mole guy backed up and crashed into the vice-director once again.

In the end, the mole guy got away. But before he left out the factory doors, he turned around and said nastily:
“Don’t look down on third years! There will eventually be people in the school who disapproves of you and then you’ll be taught a lesson!”
“Senior, why are you running?” I ridiculed from behind, “If you’re a man, then I’ll see you today at 6 by the school’s back gate!”

Shu Sha immediately called the mole guy’s cell phone.

“You… why did you call me?”
“I wanted to warn you to not proceed with your plan of taking a cut of the profits.”
“I just want to do it. If this factory doesn’t cooperate, then I’ll just go to another one.”
“Actually, my phone has a recording feature and I’ve recorded our entire previous conversation including our current one.”
“What?”
“It should be easy to find out which third year class you’re from? Then, I’ll find the proper prices based on the clothes you bought. If I find you took a cut, I will play your ‘brilliant ideas’ for your classmates to hear, do you not care? “
