Ou Yangming did not need to report to anyone when he arrived at the peak. Perhaps some people from other peaks were still not aware of his identity in the Beast King Sect, but this would not happen on this peak.
Someone had already left to report Ou Yangming’s arrival upon seeing him from afar. Moreover, the people there were immediately ordered by Yuqi the Venerable One to not obstruct the young fellow.

Yuqi the Venerable One beamed and asked, “Master Ou, are you planning to set out to the secret realm already?”
Ou Yangming was stunned. It was then when he remembered that he was being held up by something.
He chuckled and said, “Yuqi the Venerable One, I’ve come today to give you something good.”
“Give me something good?” The Venerable One was puzzled.
Ou Yangming nodded and asked, “Yuqi the Venerable One, what’s your greatest equipment?”
Yuqi the Venerable One’s face changed slightly, but he instantly went back to normal and smiled with his eyes squinted. “Master Ou, why do you ask?”
Fortunately, Ou Yangming was the one that asked. If someone else had raised the question, the Venerable One might have fallen out with that person.
Ou Yangming cleared his throat and answered, “I acquired something good just now, and it can be added to a piece of equipment. The only thing is that it has a rather valuable attribute, which will be quite a pity to attach it to an ordinary piece of equipment so…”
Yuqi the Venerable One’s face twitched. He did not know what he should feel.

Even so, seeing the sincere look in Ou Yangming’s eyes, the Venerable One finally sighed and said, “Alright, go ahead and try it then.”
He turned his hand and retrieved a longsword.
The longsword instantly gave off an intense chillness as soon as it was taken out. The chillness spread in all directions, and it was as though the space around the sword froze.
Ou Yangming’s eyelids twitched. A lady’s beautiful image appeared in his mind the moment he saw the longsword.
It was Wu Hanning—the imperial family’s princess used an ice-mastery longsword too. Nevertheless, her longsword was inevitably inferior to the one in front of Ou Yangming at the moment.
The young fellow picked up the longsword. His Military Fire flickered for a split second, and the weapon’s properties were visible to him at once.

He had a better piece of equipment, but he must not reveal it in this situation.
Yuqi the Venerable One shook his head and answered, “I rarely use pieces of equipment against my enemies. Heh, so I don’t have many of them with me.”
Ou Yangming grinned and questioned, “You’re a Venerable One, after all. Do you not even have a magic weapon?”
The Venerable One’s face darkened slightly. He shook his head and sighed. “Magic weapons are exceptionally valuable, I’ve seen them before, but I don’t have any with me at the moment.” He rejected the young fellow without thinking at all.
‘Let Ou Yangming experiment on a magic weapon? Wouldn’t that be a joke? Even if the Beast King Sect is one of the few superb forces among the Humans in Danzhou, one can’t be so reckless.’
Ou Yangming shrugged. He had only visited to promote the white ore by spreading the Unique Attribute.
Whether it would be attached to the longsword or a magic weapon, it would not actually make a difference to him. Since Yuqi the Venerable One was not willing to believe him, he would not force it anymore.
He inspected the longsword and sighed. “This ice-mastery longsword is decent but unfortunately, its durability is quite low.”
“Indeed.” Yuqi the Venerable One chuckled but thought, ‘If it isn’t because of its low durability, where it’s almost considered as scrap, why would I have taken it out for you to play with it?’
He knew Ou Yangming had a proud talent in smithing art, but he was dubious about the material that appeared out of the blue.
Yuqi the Venerable One thought that he would simply fawn over the Phoenixes’ messenger with the longsword; he did not intend to take it back at all.
If Ou Yangming knew what he was thinking, only God would know what he would feel.
Ou Yangming was already famous in the lower realm. If he took the initiative to smith a piece of equipment for someone, one would be elated and shed tears of gratitude. On the other hand, he needed to work much harder in the Spiritual Realm to reach the same level.
“Yuqi the Venerable One, since this longsword’s durability is so low, why don’t you have it repaired?” The young fellow asked conveniently. He paused for a while before he continued, “Master Peng Yanbing also has a profound level of attainment in smithing art, so he should be capable enough to do it.”
The Venerable One sighed. “I’m aware of his capability, but the special materials needed to repair this longsword are too difficult to find.” He shook his head and continued, “This sword was smithed by a smithing master from Bingzhou, where part of the materials used are specialties from Bing Zhou. If those materials aren’t added in, the 2 skills attached to this ice sword will disappear. The 2 skills are the most valuable properties of the sword, so why go through the trouble if they’ll be lost?”
Ou Yangming raised his eyebrow. Instead of feeling surprised, he was overjoyed.

Some fine pieces of equipment were not only hard to smith, but were also difficult to be repaired.

The young fellow later cleared his throat loudly and added, “I don’t want to be disturbed by any spectator when I smith.”
Yuqi the Venerable One was startled for some time before he responded, “Alright, take your time and call me when you’re done.” Subsequently, he turned and left.
Ou Yangming sighed a breath of relief only when the Venerable One left. Nonetheless, he quickly recalled something. ‘That’s Sir Venerable One, and this is his residence.
‘What did I just do? I actually shooed the Venerable One out of his house…’
It was fine when it did not cross his mind, but he was also dazed once he came back to his senses.
‘When have I become so bold? Strangely enough, Yuqi the Venerable One actually acquiesced in my request!’
Ou Yangming was struck dumb for a long time, and he could not help but smile bitterly. As he looked down at the longsword, which was wrapped in his Military Fire, he thought, ‘I hope that the result can satisfy Yuqi the Venerable One and make him forget about this completely.’
He did all he could to curb his thoughts, then he retrieved the small white ore from his interspatial bag and mumbled, “Lil’ thing, you mustn’t let me down.”
With that, Ou Yangming tossed the white ore into his Military Fire. As soon as it came into contact with the fire, it hastened into the longsword like a frightened rabbit.
Ou Yangming did not need to refine the ore at all. By only watching quietly, he could sense that the white ore had successfully entered the longsword and assimilated into it. The ore managed to penetrate every inch of space inside the weapon and became one with it.
