“How old are you?”
“It’s our third birthday the day after tomorrow,” Jinchen said. “Are you coming to our birthday party, Uncle?”

The girl’s eyes were filled with anticipation, which reminded him of Ye Shengge.

“Me too.” The boy looked at him expectantly.
