Jiang Ruolan took a deep breath. "I don't want him to get hurt twice in one night."
One side comes from love, the other from friendship.
She didn't finish her sentence, but she could tell from Xian Zihao's slightly moved eyes that he understood her words. If he didn't understand, he would have said it earlier and wouldn't have allowed her to hide it this way.
But he was soberer than she was, and men were always soberer than women, and women were too emotional, so she hesitated.
Back then, Yin Yang had brought them together. Their marriage was originally just to benefit both parties, however, in the end, the relationship had turned into an inseparable relationship, so how can she be with Xian Zihao if Qin Gengxin suffered because of it?
In fact, Jiang Ruolan was really worried that if Qin Gengxin didn't plan to let her go after finding out the truth, she wasn't sure what options would Xian Zihao choose.
Later, when they returned to the private room, the 28,000 RMB teapot on the table was already cold. Qin Gengxin called the waiter to make new tea and then ate a few dishes.
Qin Gengxin hadn't bothered to talk with Jiang Ruolan since she went back to the private room.

Qin Gengxin drank a little. Although he's not drunk, he still couldn't drive. Xian Zihao drove him back to the apartment building.
When they passed the square in front of the Xian Group's Building, Jiang Ruolan, who was sitting in the passenger seat, saw a woman standing under three parallel flagpoles in Xian's Plaza.
That woman was currently focused on staring at the Xian Group's Building in front of her and not moving at all.
She vaguely felt that she had seen this woman's back somewhere before.
That's right. She's the mother of a little girl hiding behind a bus stop sign this afternoon. What was she doing over there?
Jiang Ruolan was stunned for a moment, but the car had already sped away while she was still in a daze, and when she stuck her head out the window and looked out, she was already very far away from the Xian Group.
Jiang Ruolan could not see the plaza clearly. She could only withdraw her head.
The black Land Rover was parked at the side of the road in front of the building where Qin Gengxin lived.
Qin Gengxin was already asleep in the back seat, and when he felt the car stop, he opened her eyes in a daze. He was not drunk as he was before. He looked outside the car and mumbled, "We're here?"
He sat up, pushed open the door, and got out of the car after saying that. A cool autumn wind blew around him, and he finally woke up. He pressed his hand on his forehead, then turned to look at the two of them, "Why don't you come down? Come on, come, follow me."
"I'm not going up. I will ask President Xian to take me to the bus stop ahead!" Jiang Ruolan refused.
Qin Gengxin had already stopped walking. Seeing Jiang Ruolan's distant attitude, his lips instantly curled into a straight line. He stood there looking at her with his arms crossed in displeasure.
If Jiang Ruolan were here alone, she wouldn't even bother to pay attention to him and directly left. But now Xian Zihao was here, and Qin Gengxin seemed to have begun to suspect her.
Although he did not suspect the two of them were together, Jiang Ruolan had to open the door and get out of the car to avoid too many holes.
Afterward, she walked quickly towards Qin Gengxin and helplessly looked at his mouth that was slightly curled up because of her. Jiang Ruolan muttered in dissatisfaction, "Why are you still so childish? What a scoundrel!"
Jiang Ruolan hurriedly took a step back, but her waist was pulled by Qin Gengxin.
With a smile, he raised a pair of deadly peach shaped eyes that could kill someone, "I'm a scoundrel, but I'm only a scoundrel towards you."
Jiang Ruolan rolled her eyes and slapped Qin Gengxin's hand down, "Why don't you go die! If you feel uncomfortable, President Xian and I will send you upstairs, okay? We'll leave after sending you up. If President Xian is willing to accompany you, then he'll go. I'm not going."
Qin Gengxin raised his eyebrows disapprovingly. He glanced at Xian Zihao, who was walking towards him and immediately glanced at him with an expression as if he was looking at a shiny electric light.
"Zihao will not bother us. Let him wait for you." Qin Gengxin grabbed Jiang Ruolan by the shoulders and suppressed her resistance. He turned back to Xian Zihao, who was standing under the streetlamp. His expression was unreadable.
Qin Gengxin whistled happily while dragging Jiang Ruolan into the building.
"Oi, take your hands away!" Jiang Ruolan struggled on the way but it only made Qin Gengxin tightened his grip.
While the two of them were waiting for the elevator, Xian Zihao immediately stood beside them. He cast a meaningful glance at Jiang Ruolan's shocked expression and said to Qin Gengxin, "Why don't I come in and take a seat as well?"
Qin Gengxin was shocked and looked at Xian Zihao's calm expression with disbelief. "Zihao, since when did you suddenly become so blind?"
Xian Zihao's eyes were calm and he innocently replied, "The weather tonight is very cool. I feel cold."
"You're cold? Then why don't you wait in your car!" Qin Gengxin rolled his eyes in anger.
When the elevator door opened, Xian Zihao walked in as if he didn't hear him.
Qin Gengxin was speechless. He dragged Jiang Ruolan with him. After the elevator door closed, the three of them stood closely in the elevator.
Jiang Ruolan suddenly pinched Qin Gengxin's waist. He was in so much pain that he finally let her go.
She quickly moved to the side.
Xian Zihao remained silent the entire time, his face as calm as ever.
However, Qin Gengxin continued to look at him with disdain, "You've changed!"
Xian Zihao raised his brow and shot a glance at Qin Gengxin. "What do you mean?"
"You are indeed the true god of shamelessness. I admire you." With a bitter face, Qin Gengxin clasping his hands in front of his chest.
Xian Zihao's brows slightly twitched as he said with a smile that was not a smile, "Today …"
Before he could finish his sentence, the elevator had reached the floor and the door slowly opened. However, Qin Gengxin didn't go out immediately and waited for him to finish.
"It's really cold." Xian Zihao said slowly.
Qin Gengxin's mouth twitched. He really wanted to beat this man.
Alright! You win. You are so ruthless! This grandpa will go back and take a shower!"
Qin Gengxin strode out of the elevator with a bitter face. It was obvious that he was angry.
The elevator door closed once again. Jiang Ruolan felt her eyelids twitch. She turned her head abruptly and saw Xian Zihao slowly shifting his gaze to her.
He was looking at her silently, not saying a word.
He went straight out once the elevator stopped on the first floor.
Jiang Ruolan held her wrist and followed behind anxiously.
She had a feeling that this was the calm before the storm.
On the way back to Greenville Residence, the two of them did not speak at all.
Jiang Ruolan wanted to say something, but when she saw Xian Zihao''s expressionless face, she was unable to do so.
She opened the door and walked into the house. The lights in the living room suddenly lit up.
Jiang Ruolan put down her bag, changed her shoes, and turned around. "Xian–"
Unexpectedly, Xian Zihao closed the door behind him and wrapped his arms around her waist the moment she turned around.
He pressed her body against the door amidst her unguarded cries, and in the next second, he fiercely bit her tongue.
"Are you jealous?" Jiang Ruolan leaned her head against his neck and sniffed his scent.
Xian Zihao paused slightly but didn't reply.
