Chapter 171 – Xian Zihao’s Care
Jiang Ruolan was puzzled. Zhou Shufen still came even after the rejection?
When Jiang Ruolan saw her entering the ward, she immediately closed her eyes. She heard the faint sound of footsteps walking towards the window, she opened her eyes slightly.
Zhou Shufen walked quietly to the sofa by the window and looked down at the sleeping Xian Zihao. When she caught sight of his suit jacket resting on the back of the sofa, she gently removed it and carefully covered it for him.
After covering him with his jacket, Zhou Shufen looked at him for a while before turning around and walking slowly to the bedside.
Jiang Ruolan closed her eyes again. When she didn't hear any movement, she couldn't help but open her eyes slightly, only to see Zhou Shufen still standing by the bed, staring at her with her (Zhou Shufen) watery eyes that were filled with spirit energy.
To be honest, Jiang Ruolan really didn't like the look in her eyes. Although it didn't seem like she had any ill intentions, she just didn't like it.
Jiang Ruolan frowned and looked at Zhou Shufen in silence. It was obvious that Zhou Shufen knew that she had woken up. What was the meaning of her to look at her (Jiang Ruolan) like that?
"I came uninvited, please don't take offense." Zhou Shufen leaned over with a smile and said in a low voice that only Jiang Ruolan could hear.
Jiang Ruolan also smiled at her and said in a soft voice, "No, not at all. Miss Zhou has personally come to visit and it is a great honor for me."
Zhou Shufen smiled. "I came here secretly behind my grandfather's back. I came to see how severely injured you are. I can't help much, but I have a Pendant of Peace with me. I'll give it to you as a gift."

"I hope you get well soon," Zhou Shufen said softly, laying the necklace on the white table beside her bed.

"This is my gift to you." Zhou Shufen tilted her head and gave her a slight smile before winking at her. "My grandfather still doesn't know that I sneaked out by myself. I need to go back quickly. Miss Jiang, we'll meet again."
With that, she turned and left.
Silence returned to the ward once again. The only sound that could be heard was Xian Zihao's steady and shallow breathing.
The necklace was placed on the table by her bed. Jiang Ruolan wanted to get up and see the necklace, but she could not get up no matter what.
