Chapter 243 – So Different
Jiang Ruolan was stunned for a moment. She looked at Zhan An, whose eyes seemed frozen. Jiang Ruolan immediately walked to Jiang Yijun's side. Jiang Yijun's gaze was very shallow.
Due to too many things happening in the past two days, she did not have the time to go to Bliss B&B Hotel to find him. When Jiang Ruolan saw Jiang Yijun, her heart ached for no reason.
"Yijun, what are you doing here?"
However, when Jiang Yijun saw Zhan An slowly walking towards them, his gaze stopped for a moment.
From his gaze, Jiang Ruolan could tell that Jiang Yijun seemed to know Zhan An.
"This is?" Zhan An also looked at this young man who looked somewhat similar to her own son in shock.
"He's my younger brother!" Jiang Ruolan hurriedly explained.
"Your brother?" Zhan An was a little surprised. She already heard that Jiang Guanyu had brought two children to the Jiang Family back then, but she had never seen them before. "Not bad, this young lad is very spirited."

Jiang Yijun glanced at her without any expression, then coldly at Zhan An. He smiled and said, "I don't know you. I only heard from my sister about you."
Zhan An nodded. With a smile in her eyes, she replied, "Ah, so it is like that. Since you are Ruolan's brother, why are you standing here, waiting for her? Why don't you come inside?"
"There's no need. I have something to say to my sister. I wonder if Mrs. Xian could leave the two of us alone?"
"Of course. You guys chat, I'll come in first." Zhan An smiled, then looked back at Jiang Ruolan. "Be careful. Do not stand in this cold wind for too long. Pregnant women should not be exposed to cold winds at all."
With that, Zhan An looked at Jiang Yijun's frozen expression, observed him for a while, then turned around and walked into the house.
"You pregnant?" As soon as Zhan An left, Jiang Yijun frowned and stared coldly at Jiang Ruolan.
Jiang Ruolan sighed, "Yijun, I …" After some thought, she didn't finish her sentence but raised her head to look at him. "How do you know Mrs. Xian? I never told you about her."
Jiang Yijun stared coldly at her face. "I heard that Xian Zihao was shot a few days ago and was worried about you. I initially wanted to come and ask about your condition, but it seems … I came to the wrong place."

"I did not hurt your heart, and I did not urge you further. What do you want me to do? Watching you happily get married to someone else and having his baby? Jiang Ruolan, don't you think that you're too cruel?" Jiang Yijun shook off her hand.
"I just want you to remember that I am your sister! Since we were young, I have always protected you. I will always love you."
Jiang Ruolan looked at Jiang Yijun firmly and held his arm tightly. "You can't just throw me away! It doesn't matter if I am the one who forced you or not. Jiang Ruolan walked in front of him. She pressed both of her hands on his arms and looked at Jiang Yijun in the eyes. "Jiang Yijun, unless you tell me to stay out your life, I will not let you go!"
Jiang Yijun stopped and his eyes were cold. Jiang Ruolan stared straight at him, tightly holding his arm. "Speak, you're going to abandon me now, despite we have been dependent on each other for twenty years?"
"Jiang Ruolan." Jiang Yijun gritted his teeth, but he didn't shake her off. He only glared at her.
Jiang Ruolan refused to budge at all. "No one understands you better than me! You are my little brother who I have personally witnessed growing up. I know better than anyone how kind you are, how outstanding you are, and how much you love your sister! Jiang Yijun, if you're willing to hurt my heart, then let's just leave. I don't need you to care about what happens to me in the future!"
Jiang Ruolan immediately released her grip on Jiang Yijun's, turned around, and walked past him.
One step.
Two steps.
Three steps.
Four steps.
Seven Steps.
Jiang Ruolan waited for Jiang Yijun to turn back and called out her name as she walked away.
But when she took the eleventh step, he gave no reaction.
Jiang Ruolan frowned and clenched her fists tightly. She took a deep breath and turned around to glare at him. "Jiang Yijun!"
Jiang Yijun slowly turned around with a hint of mockery in his eyes. "Do you really think that you understand me so well?"
Jiang Ruolan was stunned.
"On what day was the ceremony?" After a long while, Jiang Yijun suddenly asked in a low voice.
Jiang Ruolan paused and instinctively replied, "This week, on Sunday."
Jiang Yijun nodded. "Alright, I won't abandon you because I couldn't."
Seeing a faint sense of anticipation in Jiang Ruolan's eyes, Jiang Yijun loosened his brows slightly and said hoarsely, "As long as you don't regret it …Your wedding, I will be there just in time."
Jiang Ruolan immediately walked back towards him. She looked deeply at his eyes.
She knew Jiang Yijun wouldn't be someone who would cause trouble at a wedding, but what did he mean by that?
However, before she could ask, she saw Jiang Yijun looking behind her. Jiang Ruolan then turned around and saw Zhan An, who had gone inside the house, walking out. She was currently looking at both of them.
