Jiang Ruolan came down the stairs without saying anything and thought she just had to pour a glass of water and then go back upstairs. She walked to the low cabinet, picked up the thermos, and poured a glass of hot water. Just as Jiang Ruolan was about to bring it to Cui Liuxian, she suddenly froze in her steps and the glass in her hand was almost falling off. The hot water made her hand immediately turn red.
Jiang Ruolan barely managed to hold the glass as she looked at Cui Liuxian, who was holding a fruit knife with a gloomy expression on her face.
"Here's some water for you." Seeing Cui Liuxian looking at her with a dark expression, Jiang Ruolan immediately frowned. Although she was not afraid of her at all, it was better not to cause trouble.
However, instead of taking the glass from Jiang Ruolan's hand, Cui Liuxian slowly raised the fruit knife. The instant Jiang Ruolan sensed danger, she quickly went to dodge, but the sharp knife suddenly touched her face.
"Don't move." Cui Liuxian's low voice slowly sounded and her eyes filled with hatred.
Jiang Ruolan frowned. "Cui Liuxian, what are you trying to do?"

"Alright, I won't move." Jiang Ruolan tried her best to stay calm. This was the Xian Residence, and although it was late at night and no one else was walking around the living room, and the servants had all gone to bed, Cui Liuxian would never do anything too crazy inside the residence.
