"President Xian! It's good that you're fine! This is… Miss Jiang?"
"Are there any dry clothes in the car? Put it on her." Xian Zihao said as he carried Jiang Ruolan to the car.
"There's none in the car, but there's one in the villa. A staff member has already prepared clothes!"
Xian Zihao nodded his head. Even though they were already in the car, he still didn't let go of her. The two Aerial Club workers inside the car didn't dare to look at them too much.
Jiang Ruolan tried to struggle free from his embrace, but he held her tightly. Xian Zihao patiently rubbed her hands, trying to keep her warm. He looked at her ankle, and just as he gently touched it, she made a hissing sound.
Xian Zihao frowned and looked down to see her face pale from the pain. His expression suddenly became cold for a moment, "You can't even take care of yourself, to whom you are trying to show off? Next time, just stay in the house and don't run around."
Jiang Ruolan glared at him. "I'm just afraid that some people will be in danger because I snatched his umbrella. If something happens, I, as a small journalist, won't be able to take this responsibility!"
Xian Zihao did not say anything, only looked at her. The cold intent in his eyes had slowed down, and when he looked at her drenched body, he sighed helplessly. The moment the car stopped in front of the villa, he directly carried her out of the car and quickly walked inside.
"Let me down! I can walk by myself!" Seeing that Xian Zihao still didn't want to let her go, Jiang Ruolan immediately felt uncomfortable. Those people around were looking at both of them. She pushed him away and said, "Let me down, Xian Zihao!"
"Is there a doctor? Call him now! She's sprained her ankle." Xian Zihao ignored her struggling and carried her all the way back to his room.

Xian Zihao put her on the bed, took off her shoes, and lightly turned her ankle. Jiang Ruolan couldn't help but cry out in pain, "It hurts!"
"You know pain?" He looked up at her briefly, then got up and went to change his clothes. He said to the two female staff as he walked out. "Her ankle is quite bad. Help her change clothes first and tell me when the doctor arrives."
"OK, President Xian."
"I… Hey, you guys, stop!" Jiang Ruolan could not even resist because of the ankle injury. She was stripped naked by the two female staff and then changed into dry clothes. After her hair was dried and tied up, her previously cold and pale face gradually calmed down.
One of the female staff members passed her a cup of hot water. "Miss Jiang, please drink this warm water first. The kitchen is already preparing the ginger soup."
Jiang Ruolan took the cup. It was a little hot, so she didn't drink it immediately. Her nose felt a little stuffy. She might really have caught a cold.
Not long after Xian Zihao went inside the room again. He stopped in front of the bed, trying to stroke her forehead, and before she could dodge, he already touched her. Jiang Ruolan immediately frowned. "Can I go now?"
Without saying a word, Xian Zihao bent down and lifted up her foot. He very gently holds it with his hand and observed it. Then, he turned his head to the two female staff members and asked, "Is the doctor here?"
"President Xian, we just called the doctor. He's outside right now."
"Let him in." After saying that, Xian Zihao looked back at Jiang Ruolan's feet before raising his eyes to look at her. "Your ankle is so swollen, are you alright?"
Jiang Ruolan didn't expect the roads in the orchard to be so uneven. She, Jiang Ruolan, had lived for 25 years, so it was normal for her to twist her ankle to such a degree, but it had never been this serious.
The pain in her ankle was enough to irritate her. She took two deep breaths and yanked her foot out of his grasp, but the pain only made her gasp. Jiang Ruolan frowned as she searched for her shoes. "I'm going back to my room," she said.
"Stop fooling around! You can't even walk right now." Xian Zihao immediately stopped her and sat her back on the bed.
"I want to go back to my room." Jiang Ruolan pushed him away.
"Jiang Ruolan, stop!"
She looked up. "Why should I? Xian Zihao, we have nothing to do with each other anymore. Even if you explain everything clearly, it's already too late! I don't think I'm that attractive. I don't need you to do this to me! Leave me alone!"
Xian Zihao put his hand on her shoulder. He did not use much strength but she was unable to get up. Jiang Ruolan looked up at him in surprise. The doctor had already walked in while they were in this state.
"Look at her ankle." Xian Zihao said lightly.
The doctor nodded and carefully held Jiang Ruolan's foot. The moment his finger touched her swollen ankle, she trembled in pain. Jiang Ruolan bit her lips. She didn't cry out in pain, instead, she turned her head away, forcibly endure the pain.
The doctor gave her ankle another squeeze and his action had caused her to tremble in pain. Jiang Ruolan bit her lips, hard.
"Stop biting your lips." Xian Zihao whispered.
Jiang Ruolan acted like she didn't hear anything. She was in so much pain and if she didn't bite her lips, wouldn't she be shouting? Wouldn't that be embarrassing to death!
The doctor continued examining her injury. It was inevitable that he would touch the swelling on her ankle, but the pain made her want to cry.
Just as she felt she was about to bite her lips again, a hand reached out and touched her mouth.
Jiang Ruolan looked at Xian Zihao in stunned, then back at his hand. She turned her head away from his hand and continued to bite her lips.
Then the hand came again, to her mouth.
She turned her head away again, and he held out his hand again.
Finally, she got angry and bit down his hand as the doctor pressed slightly on the sore spot. She could not be more ruthless.
"Her ankle was sprained. To reduce the swelling, we will apply for some medicine, and she needs to rest for a few days." the doctor said.
Xian Zihao let out a sigh of relief when he heard the doctor say that Jiang Ruolan's injuries weren't serious. He was just about to pull his hand out of her mouth when he realized that she was still biting on it with the same strength. He turned his head to look at her.
Jiang Ruolan suddenly opened her mouth and let go of his hand. She looked at the deep bloody wound on the back of his hand and coldly turned her head away. "I told you I was fine."
Xian Zihao just chuckled. He then signaled the doctor that he could leave now. He instructed the staff to bring two ice bags over.
When the ice bags arrived in time, they were alone. Xian Zihao leaned down and placed them on her ankles.
"Hiss …" Jiang Ruolan flinched.
"Don't move." Xian Zihao firmly held her swollen ankle.
"I'll do it myself." Jiang Ruolan said while trying to snatch the ice bag.
Seeing her insistence, Xian Zihao let her do as she wanted. He moved his hand away and let her hold the ice bag.
Jiang Ruolan had been busy the whole afternoon and had not eaten anything at night. Now, she has a swollen ankle. She lowered her head and looked at her feet with melancholy.
What kind of sin was this!?
"It's raining so heavily, why did you run out to find me?" A faint voice suddenly sounded.
Jiang Ruolan tightened her grip on the ice bag but didn't avoid answering the question. "I said it already, I don't want you to be in danger just because I stole your umbrella."
"Jiang Ruolan, concern is concern. Why do you need to find so many reasons to deny it?" He chuckled.
