Jiang Ruolan frowned as she glanced at the stubborn expression on Xian Guiying's face as she knelt there with her hands on her stomach. She was in a protective posture, but she refused to speak.
"Still not speaking? You're not willing to say, right?!" Old Man Xian gritted his teeth and swung his cane towards Xian Guiying.
"Grandfather!" Jiang Ruolan cried out in alarm.
Xian Zihao stepped forward to block the Old Man's hand, saying calmly, "Grandpa, are you sure you want to deal with this matter like this?"
"If I can't beat her up, then do you want her to give birth to the child that she has brought from who knows where?! Do you want our Xian Family to lose face?!" The Old Man glared at him.
"Ruolan is also pregnant. Do you have the heart to let her see you beat up Guiying and her child like this?" Xian Zihao didn't plan on provoking the Old Man, so his tone was much softer.

Qin Gengxin lowered his head to look at Xian Guiying, who was trying to stand up. He went towards her and yanked her up.
Xian Guiying was obviously shocked by the sudden turn of events. She tried to struggle free from his grasp, but Qin Gengxin firmly held her wrist and frowned at her. The seriousness in his eyes was something no one had ever seen before.
"I didn't expect it to be you." Qin Gengxin tried hard to suppress all of his tempers. His eyes were cold, but he tried his best to keep his voice low. He stared at Xian Guiying's face and squeezed her wrist. "Guiying, don't you think you had made the biggest mistake? If love is the blind pursuit of selfish possession, then you should know who exactly I want!"
Qin Gengxin suddenly pointed in Jiang Ruolan's direction. He didn't say anything more. However, his eyes represented everything.
The word "I want" had been bitten too hard by him, causing Xian Guiying to stumble. "I …I didn't mean for it to happen. I don't even want you to take responsibility."
"You don't want me to take responsibility?" Qin Gengxin started laughing, but it seemed like he was laughing at himself.
