Chapter 357 – Seducing Hubby ~ IV
The suite was simple and very luxurious, with a small study room. The door of the study was open. Jiang Ruolan carefully walked over and peeked inside. There was a laptop on the table and Xian Zihao's slender fingers were rapidly tapping on the laptop's keyboard.
There were also several documents laid on the table.
Jiang Ruolan stood behind the door and watched him work. Unknowingly, she became entranced. She suddenly felt grateful to be his wife. Just imagine how many women were trying to be in her position right now but too bad, the man already belongs to her.
Even though he did not look up, Xian Zihao still knew who was hiding behind the door. Without raising his head, he asked, "Why are you standing there in a daze? Are you awake?"
Jiang Ruolan gently pushed the hair on the side of her face behind her ear and walked out from behind the door. Seeing that he was almost done with his work, she thought for a moment before calling out to him with a sweet voice. "Hubby ~"
Then, she pushed her jacket from her shoulder and it fell to the floor.
Her voice was too sweet and too coquettish. Xian Zihao's slender fingers, which were moving on the keyboard, immediately stiffened as he turned his head to look at her. His gaze focused on the light golden nightgown, remaining motionless for a long time.
''What's the use of just looking? Why is there no reaction?' Jiang Ruolan secretly thought.
Could it be that she had exposed too little skin? She thought about it and lightly pulled at the material in front of her chest. She then quietly lifted the hem of her nightgown.
Xian Zihao's gaze followed the hem of her skirt, slowly moving from her fair and slender calves to the more enticing part of her body.
Why did he just keep watching? Why wasn't he moving?
Was her charm really greatly reduced?
Xian Zihao was only looking at her and did not react at all. Jiang Ruolan could not tell from his gaze whether he was attracted to her or not.
Jiang Ruolan steeled her heart and walked towards him slowly. She looked at him shyly. "Zihao, are you tired?"
Xian Zihao's beautiful mouth twitched. He then put his hand on his forehead and casually placed the documents on the desk. He closed the file and no longer looked at her.
Jiang Ruolan stood in place. When she saw that he was not taking the bait, she could not contain the suspicion in her heart. Often he would pounce on her without her doing anything. She slowly let go of her grip on her dress.
Xian Zihao casually asked, "Wearing a little, aren't you cold?"
Jiang Ruolan didn't answer. She merely said in a low voice, "I'm fine. Go back to your work." She bent down with a depressed expression, picked up her jacket from the floor, and put it on. She would never do such a shameful thing again! This was the first and the last time. So embarrassed.
When she thought about the red light in the room that she purposely put on, did he not notice it when he first came back? How come Xian Zihao didn't realize that she was so sexual? Hmph!
Even after seeing her disappointed expression, Xian Zihao still remained calm. However, the corner of his mouth twitched a little. With a soft smile, he asked, "When did you buy this pajamas?"
'Your wife was trying to seduce you here and the only thing you could have asked her was when she bought the pajamas? Really?'
Jiang Ruolan glared at him angrily and looked down on his unromantic attitude.
Did Xian Zihao really think it was easy for her to do this?
He actually didn't react to her actions at all! This hurt her self-esteem!
As Jiang Ruolan thought of this, she took large strides and walked towards the door.
What made her even angrier was that Xian Zihao didn't even react to her departure. Her confidence was instantly reduced to negative numbers. Jiang Ruolan angrily returned to her room. She pulled off the piece of red silk on the lamp and turned around to return it to the room service staff.
However, just as she turned around, she saw Xian Zihao leaning against the door with his arms crossed. He was staring at her.
Jiang Ruolan cursed him in her heart and shifted her gaze away from him. She did not want to bother with him anymore and walked towards the door to return the red silk.
"Are you sure that this thing is only used to change the color of the light and not to strangle me?" Xian Zihao stopped her from leaving while pointing to a piece of silk in her hand with a laugh.
Jiang Ruolan's eyelids twitched, "What do you mean by changing the color of the lights? I just used it to play! Go busy yourself. I need to return this item." As she spoke, she pushed his hands away.
Xian Zihao suddenly grabbed her waist and pulled her into his arms. He looked down and smiled at her, "Can't you just say what do you want directly? Hmm? Why did you have to go through so much trouble to execute so many different moves? Where did you learn all this?"
Jiang Ruolan's face immediately flushed red as she struggled awkwardly in his embrace, "What are you saying? I didn't–"
"So you're saying that you really intend to strangle me? Are you trying to murder your husband?" Xian Zihao laughed softly, and then without waiting for her to finish her sentence, he carried her in his arms and closed the door with his foot.
"What are you doing? Aren't you still busy?" His unromantic feelings had frozen Jiang Ruolan's previous expectation. She didn't want to say anything else for a while. She just stared at him with a long face.
"What do you think? Why don't you tell me what I am doing?" Xian Zihao slowly put her down on the bed.
As soon as Jiang Ruolan saw his expression, she realized that he had deceived her. This was the first time in her life she had tried to seduce a man, and she was already so nervous to death. And because of that, she did not notice the unusual expression on his face.
Jiang Ruolan let out a cry as she opened her mouth to bite him, but Xian Zihao took the opportunity to drive his flexible tongue straight into her mouth. His kisses were more intense than ever before. His shoulder trembled and a happy laugh came from his mouth. Then, he kissed her face once more, saying in a low, hoarse voice, "Wife, I like this birthday present very much."
As Xian Zihao spoke, he kissed the sensitive spot behind her ear, hugging her as if he wanted to immerse her body into his blood and bones. His body was burning hot.
Xian Zihao had lost the rationality that he usually had and was in a state of impatience and eagerness that Jiang Ruolan almost couldn't bear. When he kissed her lips again, the only thing she could do was staring at him in a daze.

Could it be today was Xian Zihao's birthday?
Jiang Ruolan stared at him blankly. She hadn't paid much attention to this until now and realized that she really wasn't an unreliable wife. How come she didn't even know her husband's birthday?

Jiang Ruolan looked at the time. It was already 11.30 pm, and her heart was filled with even more guilt. When Xian Zihao kissed her forehead, she took the initiative to raise her head and kiss his adam's apple.
Xian Zihao's body suddenly trembled violently. His large hand had already pulled away the light gold nightgown that covered her body. His fingers slowly brushed against the sensitive spot on her chest.
Jiang Ruolan's whole body tensed up, and her blood started to gush out of her body.
"Today or tomorrow?" This was a very embarrassing and disappointing matter, but she still didn't want to miss the chance to celebrate her birthday. Thus, she could only ask carefully.
Xian Zihao laughed. He pecked her on the lips gently and lovingly. "It will be midnight soon. Even if we celebrate it tomorrow, it will still be fine. Whether it is intentional or just a coincidence, this gift is indeed within my heart."
