They arrived on the second floor and Cui Liuxian followed the Old Man without making a sound. The corridor was quite dark. Cui Liuxian lowered her head and the corner of her mouth lifted into a pleasant smile.
The closer they were, the more Zhan An's heart felt unease. Cui Liuxian walking with her head lowered, not daring to speak, meanwhile Old Man Xian led the group with a serious and cold face. The sound of his cane hitting the ground was deliberately lowered.
When they reached Jiang Yijun's room, the door of the room was tightly closed. Seeing the closed door, the Old Man's frown became deeper, as if he was thinking of something.
"Dad?" Zhan An said softly.
The Old Man raised his hand, gesturing for her to be quiet. He stood in front of the door and remained silent for a long time.
Cui Liuxian, on the other hand, could not hold it in any longer. She was afraid that the good show would soon be over, so she immediately pushed open the door with all her might. When she saw that the door was locked from the inside, she was even more elated. She turned to look at the Old Man and said softly, "Grandfather, the door was locked from the inside!
