Xian Chiahao and Xian An Na somehow woke up. The two little things were quietly standing at the door with their eyes wide open, staring at them.
After all, Xian Chiahao and Xian An Na were still too young and didn't understand anything. But Jiang Ruolan was a little embarrassed, so she pushed Xian Zihao away, straightened her pajamas and carried Xian An Na before she looked at Xian Chiahao, who was standing there obediently. "What should I do?" She asked while looking at Xian Zihao with a flushed face.
Xian Zihao sighed and stood up. He walked over and carried Xian Chiahao in his arms. Then he gestured to Jiang Ruolan with his chin, ordering her to bring Xian An Na to bed as well.
"I just came back. It's rare that the children want to sleep together with me. Carry them over." As he spoke, he stroked Xian Chiahao's head. His eyes filled with love and patience.
Yes, they were only two children under the age of three and the father had just returned, so he could not disappoint them.

"Zihao, I'm sorry. In these two years, the kids are so attached to me. Chiahao and An Na usually sleep with me." Jiang Ruolan looked at him with unparalleled guilt.
"Ruolan."
Xian Zihao smiled and caressed her hair before patting her on the shoulder, "Why do you have to apologize? You don't have to feel so guilty about me. Back then, when we're divorced, I never thought it was your fault. Any normal person won't be able to calm down when faced with the so-called 'truth'. You have done very well. Don't blame yourself anymore, hmm?"
After that, he tidied up his robe with a pained expression. "It's not your fault tonight, it's my fault. I was too eager."

Xian Zihao chuckled, "Lie down. I'll turn off the lights."
When Jiang Ruolan finally laid down, Xian Zihao walked over to the bedside table and turned off the bedside light. After a few seconds, he lay down next to her and hugged her.
He kissed her lightly.
Was Xian Zihao trying to continue, or was it just a goodnight kiss?
At this moment, Xian Chiahao, who was lying next to Jiang Ruolan, suddenly woke up. With his eyes wide open, he crawled from Jiang Ruolan's body and arrogantly lay between Xian Zihao and her.
Xian An Na also followed her older brother and crawled between the two of them. She then said with a smile, "An Na wants to sleep with mommy and daddy, right in the middle!"
The helplessness in Xian Zihao's eyes was intertwined with his fatherly love towards his children. Under the moonlight shining from the window, he appeared exceptionally gentle.
Xian Zihao lightly patted the two children on the head.
"Mhmm, mommy and daddy are not allowed to hug each other secretly. Big brother and I will be squeezed inside!" An Na got up and blinked her big doe eyes.
At this moment, Xian Chiahao, who had the domineering action of snatching away his mother, didn't say anything. He just nodded his head in agreement.
Jiang Ruolan looked at Xian Zihao, who looked back at her, and then, she burst out laughing, Xian Zihao sighed and extended his long arm to patted Jiang Ruolan's head. He was holding the three of them in his arms.
"Go to sleep."
Seeing that her eyes were full of fatigue, Xian Zihao kissed her forehead again. Even though his eyes were still dark, he had no choice but to give up temporarily because of his children.
Today's journey and experience made him feel like he had spent more than a year with three of them.
Jiang Ruolan was also really tired, but she couldn't bear to close her eyes, She was staring at Xian Zihao, who was sleeping beside her and their children. The bedside lamp had already turned off, and only the faint moonlight shone throughout the room.
Xian Zihao smilingly patted her shoulder. "Stop looking at me. Go to sleep. Tomorrow is the weekend. You have to wake up early, I plan to take our children out to play."
Jiang Ruolan then closed her eyes with a smile. One of her hands rested on Xian Chiahao's and Xian An Na's small bodies, while her other hand, held Xian Zihao's hand that was on her hair.
Not long after, she slowly fell asleep.
After sleeping for an unknown time, even though her two children were no longer used to waking up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet, Jiang Ruolan still woke up on time every morning at 3:30 a.m. She opened her eyes and glanced at her children who were sleeping next to her, then suddenly raised her eyes to see that Xian Zihao was still awake.
"Why are you awake?" He asked casually.
"What time is it? Why haven't you slept yet?" Jiang Ruolan sat up, and seeing Xian Chiahao and Xian An Na sleep soundly, she pulled the blanket to their neck to prevent them from catching the flu.
Then she rolled over and got out of bed. "You can't sleep? I'll make you a glass of hot milk then. Hopefully, it will help you sleep."
"No need." Xian Zihao quickly held her hand. "It's not that I can't sleep, but I don't want to sleep. Why did you wake up? Go to sleep."
Jiang Ruolan frowned and put her hand on his forehead. "Do you feel uncomfortable somewhere? If you are not well, let me know. There's a small private hospital open near Greenville Residence. The environment is not bad, and the medical facilities are also very good."
Seeing her making a fuss, Xian Zihao smiled helplessly. He knew that Jiang Ruolan had been worried about him. She was afraid that he would die, afraid that his body would not fully recover, so he pulled her hand away and said lowly, as not to wake the children. "I want to watch you and our children sleeping. I don't feel sleepy at all. If I can't fall asleep, I will read the newspaper. Don't worry, okay?"

Listening to her words, Xian Zihao simply patted her shoulder. Perhaps he was afraid of disturbing the children, and all he did was kiss her lightly on the head. "Alright, let's go back to sleep. I'm going to sleep as well."
Jiang Ruolan nodded. After seeing him switch off the bedside lamp again, she gently crawled to the other side of the children and lay down.
