Chapter 505 – Buy A New Wife
Time flew. In the blink of an eye, a year had passed.
On this day, a small four-year-old loli suddenly ran out of the front yard of Xian Residence and hugged Jiang Yijun's legs as soon as he got out of a car. She cried, "Uncle Yijun! Marry me!"
Jiang Yijun had just returned from a business trip and was pounced on by Xian An Na even before he entered the door. He was shocked by her words and confused.
Suddenly, Jiang Ruolan walked out and shouted, "Xian An Na, what nonsense you are talking about? Hurry up, you have to go to kindergarten today! Grandpa Li's car is ready and your big brother is already waiting inside! Hurry up and eat breakfast."
Xian An Na cried loudly, but there were no tears at all. She pulled on Jiang Yijun's pants and said with a wronged face, "Uncle Yijun! Marry me! Mommy once said, unless I grow up and get married, I should go to kindergarten! The aunts and teachers there are not fun, I didn't want to go! Just marry me!"
Jiang Yijun sighed; he didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He bent down and pinched Xian An Na's chubby, smooth face, "Little thing, let's not talk about whether you're legal to marry, just based on our relationship, we are uncle and niece. If I marry you, that tigress mother of yours will skin me alive!"
"Jiang Yijun! No wonder she's been so attached to you these past few months. Look at what you say, don't teach bad things to her!" Jiang Ruolan's mouth twitched as she looked at him.
She then walked over to Xian An Na and looked at her sternly. "Hurry up and go eat your breakfast!"
Xian An Na pouted. She raised her head to look at Jiang Ruolan with her big eyes. Then, she turned around and ran back angrily.
Jiang Ruolan just watched the spoiled little girl. At a glance, she could tell that Xian An Na had returned to the living room and was lying on the couch, feeling all wrong as she waited for the Old Man to come down to pity her.
"This little girl is really getting naughty." Jiang Yijun also smiled as he looked in the direction Xian An Na was running.
Jiang Ruolan rubbed her forehead and sighed, "Last year, she was pretty obedient. This year, we often visited here and her grandparents and great-grandfather pampered her. She has been going to kindergarten for less than half a month, and now she wants to skip school. I really don't know whose temper she follows!"
Jiang Yijun immediately raised his eyebrow and chuckled. "I remember you often skipped class when you were young."
Jiang Ruolan immediately looked at him. "Nonsense! I was often forced to skip class by that ancestor, Qin Gengxin, for poking a beehive!"
"Yeah, you were forced." Jiang Yijun nodded while raising his eyebrow meaningfully.
Jiang Ruolan put her hand on her waist. "Don't talk anymore. You just came back from a business trip, so go inside first. It's too early. The Old Man is listening to a radio in the bedroom. Dad came out for morning practice. Mom went to America two days ago, and Zihao had another important meeting with the government last night. Since he hasn't returned yet, you can go back to your room to clean up. I'll ask Nanny Cheng to prepare breakfast for you."
"Alright." Jiang Yijun smiled and didn't say anything else. However, before he went inside, Jiang Ruolan took one of the bags from his hand and helped him carry it inside.
Jiang Yijun's mouth twitched.
Jiang Ruolan put Jiang Yijun's bag aside and walked to the couch in the living room. "Xian An Na, get up. It's already 7.00. If you don't eat now, you'll be late."
Jiang Yijun entered and saw her getting up from the couch. Xian An Na jumped off the couch and started going back and forth in the house. No one knows what she's looking for.
"What is she looking for?" Jiang Yijun asked.
Jiang Ruolan also looked at Xian An Na suspiciously as she (Xian An Na) paced around the house. "I do not know."
However, as if she couldn't find the person, she walked towards Jiang Ruolan with an angry look on her face. Following Jiang Ruolan's behavior, Xian An Na put one hand on her waist and asked where her father went.
It looked like this girl was looking for reinforcements.
Jiang Ruolan didn't answer her question. She just raised her eyebrow and shrugged. She refused to tell her.
"I want to tell daddy that you're bullying me!" With a pout on her face, Xian An Na continued to walk around the house reluctantly. Seeing Nanny Cheng walking down the stairs, she ran up to her and asked, "Grandma Cheng, Grandma Cheng! Did you see my daddy?"
Nanny Cheng was stunned for a moment and stopped walking. She first looked at Xian An Na's serious face with a smile, then looked at Jiang Ruolan, who was next to the door, and Jiang Yijun, who looked like he was watching a show.
Jiang Ruolan gave Nanny Cheng a light shake of her head, telling her not to say anything to Xian An Na.
Nanny Cheng wakes up earlier than them every day. She always knew that Xian An Na didn't like going to kindergarten.
Finally, after a leisurely walk around the house, Xian An Na asked Jiang Ruolan in a loud voice, "Where did your husband go? I guess he doesn't want you anymore. He went to the supermarket to buy a new wife!"
Before Jiang Ruolan could get angry, before Jiang Yijun and Nanny Cheng could burst out laughing, the door behind them suddenly opened. It was unknown when Xian Zihao had returned. As soon as he went inside, he heard Xian An Na's angry screams and words.
He was stunned for a moment and there was a strange look in his eyes.
"Pfftt.." Nanny Cheng couldn't refrain from laughing as she turned towards the door. "Young Master, you're back. I'll go prepare breakfast. In this kitchen, there are only two children's meals. I will prepare what the others have eaten."
Xian Zihao lowered his hand from the door handle and smiled. "What happened?"
Jiang Yijun shrugged at him, which meant that he couldn't explain it.
However, Jiang Ruolan's face darkened as she turned around and looked at him. "I wake up early every day to suffer this for at least an hour. Aren't you supposed to know what exactly had happened?"
Xian Zihao understood immediately, but before he could say anything, Xian An Na happily approached him. "Daddy! You're back!"
She ran towards him and hugged his thighs. She then said with a flattering smile, "Daddy, did you go to the supermarket to buy a new wife? Why did you take so long?"
Jiang Ruolan lowered her head and, at the same time, used her fingers to rub her forehead. This gave her a headache.
Xian Zihao smiled and bent down to pick up the increasingly naughty Xian An Na. He kissed her little face lightly. "What excuse do you have this time? Look at how it angers mommy. Hurry up, go apologize to her."
