Chapter 508 – Do Barbie Dolls Have A Daddy

"President Xian, you've been on vacation for a week. Aren't you at all worried about your company?"
A thirty years old female secretary with silver-framed glasses stood next to a woman with a beautiful face.
The beautiful woman was Xian Guiying. She was wearing a reddish-brown women's shirt and a pair of light-colored slacks. She carried a three years old girl in one hand, handed the bag to the secretary with the other, and said with a smile, "It's fine. With Vice President Wei around, nothing is going to happen. He was my brother's right-hand man before. I've only been on vacation for a few days, it won't affect anything."
"Sigh, when other women take their children out to play for a few days, they will always be urged by their husbands to come home early. They won't feel at ease with their wives and children outside, but you, President Xian…"
The moment the secretary said so, she immediately shut her mouth. She looked like she accidentally said something wrong and was about to slap her own mouth.
Xian Guiying looked at the secretary behind her and smiled in disagreement. "Sister Dai, it's not like you don't know my situation."
She put on her sunglasses and walked past a boutique. "Recently, Qianqian was too eager to go out to play and it was rare for Xian Enterprise not to be too busy, so I applied for leave with Brother Wei and took the child out to play for a few days. Secretary Dai shook her head helplessly. She knew it wasn't good to mention it when Xian Guiying finally had a good mood to bring her child out to play, so she didn't say anything more.
"Mommy!" The little girl in Xian Guiying's arm suddenly looked excitedly at a children's toy store across the street. She lifted her little finger and pointed at the Barbie doll at the glass window. Her round eyes were sparkled.
Xian Guiying looked over there and the corner of her mouth twitched. She then patted her daughter's back lightly, "Spoiled little girl, why do you like Barbie dolls so much? There are already four at home, still not enough for you to play? Change to other dolls, okay?"
"I want it, I want it ~" Qin Wenqian kept shaking her butt. She raised her little hand as if she wanted to fly over and picked up the doll.
"All little girls love dolls, but Qianqian's interest in Barbie dolls is really incredible." Secretary Dai walked over and stuck out her tongue at Qin Wenqian. "If the child likes it, then buy one for her. Since there are already four in the house, it's not a big deal to have another one."
"You don't know, every time I buy a doll for this little girl, she'll just play it for two days, and then she will feel bored. She piled it all up on the bed, like a little mountain at night. When I looked again in the morning, she kicked all the dolls under the bed!" Xian Guiying sighed while rubbing her forehead, but her footstep didn't pause. She took her daughter to the children's toy store across the street and stood outside the window, looking at the dolls through the mirror.
"You really want it?" She glanced at her daughter in her arms.
These days, Qin Wenqian's physical condition has improved. Whenever her body was in good condition, Xian Guiying would take her out to play, hoping good scenery would help her recover.
Everyone said that Xian Guiying doted on her daughter too much. Actually, when compared to other children, the amount of love she could give to the Qin Wenqian was too little.
"Well, after mommy buys it, will mommy scold me?" Qin Wenqian blinked her big black eyes and pouted her mouth as if she was trying to test the waters.
Xian Guiying immediately grinned. "What? You already know how to analyze your mommy's expression? If I told you when we got home, I would punish you, do you still want it?"
"Want it." There was a firm look in her eyes.
Xian Guiying almost laughed out loud. She rubbed her daughter's small head as she asked Secretary Dai to wait for them at the dessert shop. Then she walked to the children's toy store with Qin Wenqian in her arms.
"Mommy, do Barbie dolls have a daddy? When we buy them, we will bring them back home. Wouldn't Barbie's daddy feel sad? Could it be they're like Qianqian, who can't see daddy?" Little Qin Wenqian usually spoke a little to outsiders, however, in front of Xian Guiying, she always talked a lot. Although she's only three years old, her ability to organize words was pretty good.
Qin Wenqian's words ringing in Xian Guiying's ears, but before she could answer, her footsteps suddenly stopped in front of the children's toy store.
"Sir, this toy set was designed by Bandai, the largest toy manufacturer in Japan, and is a new release this year with a global set limit of 100. "A friend's child." The corner of his mouth was slightly hooked up as he casually handed the toy set to the saleswoman beside him. He slightly raised his chin, indicating that she should take it to settle the bill.
The saleswoman immediately smiled and turned around. Just as she was about to walk towards the cashier's counter, she caught a glimpse of the shadow in front of the door and politely asked, "Hello, miss. Please come in."
Then she beckoned her colleagues to serve the women outside the door.
Qin Gengxin was still standing in front of the crystal cabinet, looking at rows of children's toys of various kinds from all over the country. Even though they were old, men will sometimes think of their childhood when they see these toys.
Just as he picked up the rare Spider-Man's action figure and was about to examine it, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a reflection of a figure from the crystal cabinet. He paused and turned to look at the door.
However, when he turned to look at the door, no one was there.
This crystal cabinet was not as clear as a mirror, but the barely able reflection of a human figure couldn't be an illusion.
He walked to the door and looked around. There were only passers-by.
"Sir, do you want more toys?" The saleswoman came out and handed over the toy set that was already wrapped.
Qin Gengxin stood motionlessly in front of the door. He turned his head to the side, glanced at the corner not far away, and seemed to be thinking of something before he took the toy from the saleswoman. After scanning his credit card, he walked to a sapphire blue Bentley parked on the side of the road and casually placed the toy in it.
Just as he was about to check the surroundings, the car window suddenly rolled down, and a man's head peeked out, "President Qin, aren't you going to visit Mrs. Bai and her grandson? It's already noon. Eh, where are you going?"
Qin Gengxin didn't even take two steps before he stopped. He raised his hand to look at the time before narrowing his eyes and looking into the corner.
