Chapter 680 – He’s Not Important
Xian Guiying held Qin Gengxin's shirt and looked at him for a long time. Qin Gengxin's body felt hot and uncomfortable, and once his clothes were taken off, he seemed to feel better. He lay there with his eyes closed, breathing a sigh of relief.
After looking at him for a moment, Xian Guiying grabbed the thermometer and put it under his armpit.

"Go back to your bed and go to sleep." She turned Qin Wenqian's body facing towards the study.

Her daughter wanted to see her father.
Qin Gengxin was still Qin Wenqian's father. No matter if the child blamed him in her heart for not accompanying her when she was growing up, as his daughter, how could she not love her father and not want him?
Xian Guiying stroked the child's head lightly. "Qianqian, be good, daddy is sick. He has a fever. Your immunity is too low, so you can't be near him. You can go see him when he recovers, okay?"
Qin Wenqian pouted before deciding to go back to the study. She had just taken two steps forward when she abruptly stopped. As Xian Guiying was about to enter the bedroom, Qin Wenqian turned around and looked at her. "Mommy, are you and that man okay?"

Qin Wenqian lay on the bed with her eyes closed, letting her mother pat her head patiently. She then blinked her eyes. "Mommy, that man has a fever. Does he need an injection?"
"You don't have to worry about these things. All you have to do now is sleep and get up tomorrow morning to go to kindergarten. Hmm?"
"Oh …" Qin Wenqian frowned and muttered, "The kindergarten auntie here all have colorful hair."

Half an hour later, Xian Guiying came out of the study to take the laundry from the washing machine and hang them on the balcony. She then sat in the living room, looking up at the ceiling.

Xian Guiying frowned, put down a thermometer, went to pour a cup of water, and brought anti-fever medicine. She sat on the bed and slowly lifted up Qin Gengxin's head.
As she did so, Qin Gengxin unconsciously raised his hand, causing the cup of water in her other hand to almost fall.

Out of instinct, Qin Gengxin finally took a sip of water and swallowed the pill. She fed him a few more mouthfuls before stopping.
Xian Guiying put the cup of water aside and was about to help him lie down when Qin Gengxin suddenly reached out and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Xian Guiying was taken aback and fell into the bed while being hugged by Qin Gengxin. He was holding her like his most rare treasure.
She struggled for a moment but felt that he hugged her more tightly.
"Qin Gengxin! What are you doing? Let me go!"
"I'm sorry …" His lips were pressed against her forehead and he said in a faint whisper.
