Beside the man sat an old lady who was more than fifty years old. Although there were not many wrinkles on her face, the white hair that spread out from the roots of her hair could let people know that she was not young. These two faces in her memory were already blurry. When her mother passed away, no one else but her youngest aunt and uncle was at the extremely simple funeral.

“Xiao Ai is back.” Wang Yunmei saw her daughter and called out to her, pulling Jian Ai back to reality.

Cai Chunhua looked at Jian Ai calmly and snorted. “You’re back.”
Her tone was cold and distant, without any trace of kinship.
Wang Yunfa didn’t even raise his eyes. He sat on the sofa with his legs crossed, as if he didn’t know Jian Ai.
Wang Yunmei knew that because of her, no one liked her children. She was afraid that Jian Ai would feel uncomfortable, so she quickly called out, “Xiao Ai, Mom left food for you in the kitchen. You can go and eat first. I have something to discuss with your grandma and uncle.”
Jian Ai nodded and didn’t say anything. She threw down her bag and went into the kitchen, not forgetting to close the kitchen door.
Seeing this, Wang Yunmei sighed and looked at the old lady and her brother. “Mom, I’ve already said what I needed to say. I still have to go to work. You guys can go back first.”

“Sister, are you trying to make me a bachelor on purpose?!” Wang Yunfa shouted with an unhappy expression.
Wang Yunmei was never one to be trifled with. Furthermore, what did this have to do with her? Her brother was getting married, and the woman wanted a new house. If he couldn’t afford it, then why did he come to ask her for money? Was she deliberately trying to cause trouble by not giving it to him?
