Chapter 103: Too Much
“And, and…” Fang Manxue approached the vanity and opened the drawer to reveal various cosmetic products neatly lined up. “These are the cosmetic products that Xinxin uses. I don’t use these brands.”
“CEO Bai, look…” Fang Lilan approached the bedside and picked up a hair clip from the large bed. “This is the hairclip Xinxin usually uses. She must have forgotten to remove it before she went to bed.”
Bai Qinghao had indeed seen Fang Xinxin using that hairclip.
Even Li Bingpan pitched in. “CEO Bai, it seems like Miss Fang is indeed living and eating well. They haven’t treated her poorly at all. If Miss Fang is still dissatisfied with this, she is truly too…”
Before he could finish speaking, Bai Qinghao spoke up with a heavy tone. “This is too much!”
Fang Lilan, Fang Manxue and even Long Shuhai saw that Bai Qinghao finally believed them. They all breathed a sigh of relief internally.
It seems like their eighty million dollar project was about to come back into their hands!
Fang Lilan could not resist reprimanding Fang Xinxin at this juncture. “My daughter, it’s not that mom wishes to scold you, but our family has always treated you well. Yet, you’re still dissatisfied with such a good living environment. I know you’ve always been vain, but no matter what, you can’t let CEO Bai misunderstand the Fang family.”
Fang Xinxin pursed her lips. “You sure are my good mother. You’ve even started slandering me and saying that I’m vain.”
Her mother had indeed arranged for her to live in a storeroom seven years ago, one that even the lowest of staff would not use.
At the time, her father was still healthy.
He had strongly protested against her mother’s actions.
However, her mother insisted she had visited the temple and received advice that Fang Xinxin needed to live on the first floor to reconnect with her luck. Her mother had insisted that if she did not go through some difficulties, she would have to suffer through major calamities.

Her father had become worried for her safety and decided that he would rather choose to believe in a possibility than to risk her life. Thus, he could only allow her mother to move her into the storeroom.
That is how she started to live in a damp and dirty storeroom for the next seven years.
For the sake of retrieving the eighty million dollars contract from Bai Qinghao, it was likely that all evidence of her seven year stay in the storeroom had already been removed.
There was no need to visit the storeroom. It was likely piled up with actual junk now.
Everyone in the Fang family was determined to go against her.
In her previous life, she had already been thoroughly heartbroken by them.
She would not be hurt by their shamelessness again.
However, to think that even Bai Qinghao believed in them…
Fang Xinxin felt her heart twisting in pain and she lost the desire to explain herself.
Since she could not obtain his trust, what was the point in wasting her breath?
“How could the Fang family possibly treat Xinxin poorly? This is all because Xinxin is too vain. Otherwise, she would never have spouted those lies in front of CEO Bai…” Fang Lilan bowed in front of Bai Qinghao. “Thankfully, you are wise and have finally realised that our Xinxin is too much. You’ve returned our innocence to us.”
Fang Manxue and Long Shuhai both gave Fang Xinxin a look, as though saying she deserved it.
At the same time, they were rejoicing that this little bitch failed to cause trouble for them and instead, ended up bringing retribution onto herself. She was an overconfident girl who did not know how to be satisfied with her circumstances!
“You are mistaken! I’m not saying that Fang Xinxin is too much.” Bai Qinghao looked at Fang Lilan coldly as though she was an idiot.
He announced coldly. “I’m saying that the entire Fang family is too much!”
Fang Lilan, Fang Manxue and Long Shuhai all began to tremble.
Fang Lilan looked at him and asked in a careful voice. “CEO Bai, I don’t understand what you mean.”
