Bai Qinghao’s gaze flitted to Fang Manxue. “Isn’t she right here.”

Since she had already been insulted, refuting would only upset the Commander. Fang Manxue decided to embrace her role fully. “As long as CEO Bai is happy. Manxue has never seen your smile. I never imagined you to look so handsome when you smile. If humiliating Manxue can earn me a smile from you, Manxue is willing to be your maid everyday. After all, not everyone can be your maid.”
Fang Xinxin was speechless. “Second sister, I couldn’t tell. To think you’re this capable!”
Her second sister was extremely beautiful. Just by appearances alone, she seemed to be a noble, well-bred young lady. Her grievance filled voice and pitiful appearance made it such that even Fang Xinxin, a woman, could not help but soften her heart.

Fang Xinxin received her second sister’s look and understood what she was thinking.
The truth was that she had never complained to Bai Qinghao about Fang Manxue. However, she was too lazy to clarify it to her.

Bai Qinghao suddenly called out in a cold voice. “Bodyguard!”
One of the bodyguards immediately entered the room. “Boss, what are your orders?”

Bai Qinghao’s frigid gaze shifted onto the food kept on the coffee table. The bodyguard immediately understood and retrieved a small container around the size of a matchbox from his pocket. He opened it to reveal a bottle of medicine and several needles.
He dipped the needle in the medicine and pricked the food on the coffee table. After checking that the needle did not show any changes, he reported respectfully. “The food does not contain poison.”
Fang Manxue had not been thrown out but was humiliated in another manner. She was taken aback that Bai Qinghao actually had a bodyguard check if she poisoned the food. Her earlier assumption had been wrong.
He clearly did not trust her!
“CEO Bai, don’t you believe in Manxue?” Her eyes turned teary. “Towards you, my heart is… love… sincere. Even if I borrowed courage from god, I wouldn’t dare to harm you. You don’t have to do this…”
Bai Qinghao casually replied in a nonchalant manner, cutting off her emotional tirade. “Who said I’m going to eat this food?”
