“Bai Qinghao…” she cried in surprise and instinctively reached out to embrace his neck.
He placed her down on the bed and moved to help her remove her shoes.

“You’ll spoil me rotten…” She nearly whimpered, but refused to let the tears come out in front of him.

“All the better.” He responded with a shrug.

“Fang Xinxin…” he whispered and lifted his large palm to gently caress her hair. Her long, silky hair slipped through his fingertips.

“You better keep this up for the rest of your life.”
She was confused. “Keep what up?”
He simply and clearly stated his thoughts. “The attitude and actions you’ve displayed ever since you became my woman.”
“Oh.” She nodded.
It turned out he was fearful that she would grow to hate him again, and would go back to her liking for Bai Chenxi.
That was impossible.
His sharp gaze became threatening. “If…”
She raised her brows and waited for him to continue.
“If you dare to return to the way you were before…” His sharp, frigid gaze was filled with murderous intent.
“I’ll kill you!”
The man’s tone was menacing and frigid to the extreme. A layer of frost seemed to form on the surface of the room because of his words.
If anyone else had heard him, they would surely have peed in their pants by now.
“As expected, ‘when you lay with an emperor, you lay with a tiger.’ You were so gentle a moment ago. To think that you wish to kill me now. Tsk Tsk.” Fang Xinxin remained unaffected nd simply laughed.
