Fang Lilan had seen this coming. Fang Xinxin had complained to Bai Qinghao yesterday and claimed that she had lived in the storeroom for seven years. The matter was not settled at the time and there was a chance that Bai Qinghao would ask to look at the storeroom.

Fang Lilan gestured toward the interior of the room. “CEO Bai, look at the environment here. The Fang home doesn’t have any elevators. Our Xinxin was the one who was too lazy to climb the stairs. Hence, I arranged for her to stay here. As you can see, it isn’t uncomfortable to live here.”
Long Shuhai secretly gave Fang Lilan a thumbs-up.
She really had the foresight, and was able to predict Bai Qinghao’s intentions.
Thankfully, they had renovated this room earlier.
Fang Xinxin was curious as to how Bai Qinghao would respond now.
He immediately gave Liu Li a look. “Check it.”
“Yes, sir.” Liu Li immediately scanned the room thoroughly and returned to report his findings.
“Boss, there are no signs of wear and tear on the door. It is obvious that they have installed a new one. The glue on the wallpaper is still wet. The window frame also carries the faint scent of fresh paint. Moreover, the paint is yet to dry completely. It’s clear that the room was renovated last night.”
One of the bodyguards standing behind Bai Qinghao also chipped in. “Boss, I was on duty last night. I discovered several construction workers quietly renovating the room through the night.”

“Fang Xinxin, describe it yourself. What was this storeroom like when you lived here?” Bai Qinghao’s frigid gaze shifted onto Fang Xinxin.
“I’m poor at speaking. I’m not sure how to describe it.” Fang Xinxin shrugged.
Fang Lilan smiled. “CEO Bai, how different could a storeroom be? It was slightly worn down than the way it appears now. There really aren’t any major differences that would have affected her residing here…”

She brought her old-looking phone out and turned it on.
Although the video of her second sister bribing Li Bingpan was lost, the old videos that she had captured were still there.
She selected one of those which displayed the storeroom. “Why don’t you take a look at it yourself?”
