Praises surrounded Fang Xinxin endlessly. The unfamiliar faces were one matter, but there were countless old faces she saw everyday; especially the ones like Year 4, greedy-eyed Qian Xiaohe who normally enjoyed clinging onto Fang Manxue.
Fang Xinxin asked them in irritation. “I’ve been slim for a long time now. All of you seem to be acting as though you’re blind during this time since I’ve never heard a single person mention that I’ve lost weight. Have you all lost your mind today?”
Qian Xiaoke approached her side. “Fang Xinxin, in fact, the entire school has been watching your amazing weight loss journey. We’ve been discussing how quickly you’ve succeeded. You’re basically the model person to follow! But…”

Qian Xiaohe put on a ‘helpless’ expression. “I’m sure you finally understand why, though you’ve clearly lost weight, none of us dared to speak up about it during this time. “I understand, I understand.” Fang Xinxin appeared to immediately understand. She scanned their faces carefully. “In that case, go on and remain mute for the rest of your life. Don’t ever mention that I’m slim.”

Fang Xinxin replied in a casual manner. “Aren’t you always chanting Goddess Manxue’s name as you rotate around my second sister everyday? My second sister has already promised to help you. This matter is unrelated to me.”
After saying this, she turned to head into class.
“Hey, hey… don’t go. Your second sister is a useless imitation product. It’s better if Bai Qinghao’s actual fiancée would do it…” Qian Xiaohe chased after her.
When she saw that Fang Xinxin remained unresponsive, she could only rub her nose. She hated herself for being blind and treating a cheap woman as a Goddess. She had hugged the wrong thigh!

Everyone was talking about how she had lost weight and how her skin had turned fair.

Thankfully, most of her scabs had hardened and were about to fall off.
There was still some time before class. She approached a wooden bench next to a cluster of trees and sat down.
She brought her phone out and sent her elder brother, Fang Shaohua, a message.
[Brother, you have to take care of yourself while you’re alone.]
In fact, right after leaving Hong Sheng District, she had wanted to send him a message. She was worried that he had suffered too much of a shock. However, she feared he would realise that she knew of his feelings.
Thus, she could only give it some time and drag it on till now.
Fang Shaohua replied very quickly: [I will, Xinxin.]
He replied so quickly that Fang Xinxin nearly believed that her elder brother had been watching his phone the entire time.
Unbeknownst to her, Fang Shaohua had actually been staring at his phone during this period. He had written countless unsent messages and considered calling her numerous times… all of those eventually merged into the silent heartbreak that he was enduring.
“Xinxin, you’re here! Quickly look at this. A hospital nurse posted that you’re unfilial! She’s saying that your conscience was eaten by a dog!”
