She had ordered too little, making Bai Qinghao frown. He received the menu and flipped through it. He then drew a circle around a page with his finger. “Bring all of these.”

It would be a waste if they could not finish the dishes.

Bai Qinghao closed the menu. “Bring a bottle of 1982 Chateau Lafite Rothschild. And a glass of milk.”
“Please wait a moment. It will be here immediately.” The female waitress tapped on her electronic device and retreated to the side.
In luxury restaurants like this, there was a waitress assigned to every single table. There was no need for them to even remove the bones from their fish personally.
Their dishes were served within five minutes. Several service staff entered with trays of food.
As this was a hotpot, seafood restaurant, all the dishes could be directly placed into the pot.
The expensive seafood was a feast for the eyes. It was luxurious to the point where it stirred their appetites just by looking at the food.
The beautiful waitress by the side asked him. “Sir, would you like to open the bottle of wine now?”
Bai Qinghao nodded slightly.
The waitress opened the bottle professionally with an opener. She filled Fang Xinxin’s and Bai Qinghao’s glasses till they were three quarters full.
Fang Xinxin received the glass and took a sip. Bai Qinghao immediately took the glass away from her. “Alright. One sip is enough.”
He then handed the glass of milk, which he ordered earlier, to her. “You can drink this.”
Fang Xinxin lifted her brows. “Why? You can’t bear for me to drink such an expensive wine?”
She recalled that the wine he had casually ordered was a 1982 Chateau Lafite Rothschild. It was worth thirty thousand dollars.
She had planned to spend a few thousand dollars on this meal.
But the drinks and dishes he ordered… would easily cost at least eighty thousand dollars. This one meal alone would be sufficient for them to purchase a small studio apartment.
One truly could not afford to provoke the stomachs of the wealthy.
Perhaps it was better to let Bai Qinghao settle the bill later?
Bai Qinghao’s expression darkened at her words. “What’s running through your mind?”
He leaned close to her and whispered into her ears. “Aren’t you having ‘that’ right now? It’s not suitable for you to drink wine during this time. It’s bad for your body.”
He sure was considerate. He had even thought about this. Fang Xinxin rewarded him with an eye roll. “If you were only going to let me have a sip, why did you order such an expensive wine?”
“This is our first time dining out together.” Although he spoke seriously, a hint of suspicious flush appeared on his cheeks. “It would spoil the atmosphere if we didn’t have any wine.”
“I didn’t know that the Great Male God would be this specific about being romantic,” she laughed. He spent thirty thousand dollars for the atmosphere. She felt her flesh hurting.
“Go on and laugh.” Bai Qinghao’s gaze was fixated on her little face.
Her skin was covered in scabs and he could not figure out her expression. As he took in her sparkling eyes, he suddenly understood. “Are you upset about the price?”
“No.” She was stubborn and refused to admit to it.
“Don’t worry. You’ll never catch up to the speed at which I spend money.” Bai Qinghao rubbed Fang Xinxin’s head dotingly.
Fang Xinxin, naturally, knew of this. He even had a share in the taxes collected in his territories. Furthermore, the Sheng Corporation was a global finance group.
Her fiancé was basically an ultimate, high-class, large diamond! He was noble and rich!
The beautiful waitress listened by the side and stared at Bai Qinghao with eyes green with envy. Her gaze was loudly pleading – please raise me!
