It could be seen through his apology that he truly valued her a lot.
She felt a little pleased internally. However, she still harrumphed loudly. “Hmph. Will an apology alone solve this problem?”
His sharp gaze landed on the red marks on her neck. He had been the one to strangle her earlier. His eyes were filled with regret. “What do you want?”
Even if she was angered to the point where she wanted his life, he would give it!
She gritted her teeth to ask. “Explain. Why did you try to kill me even though I slept with you?”
He brought her warm figure into his arms. His cold voice was full of doting. “Fang Xinxin, how could I possibly bear to harm you?”
He sighed softly. “I saw your face the moment I woke up and didn’t manage to recognise you.”
Bai Qinghao had never expected himself to make such a foolish mistake.
He was truly always lost when it came to her.
She looked up in his arms and blinked innocently, “Why didn’t you recognise me?”
“I’ve never seen your bare face. I never expected that…” His large palm gently caressed her beautiful face. The skin beneath his fingertips was fair and smooth. “You would be this stunning.”
