She got dressed and approached the vanity to take in her own appearance. There weren’t any scars left on her face. She was truly stunningly beautiful!
It was no wonder that even Bai Qinghao was dazed looking at her beauty.

With this noise, the elevator came to a stop. She stepped out of it and walked through the living room into the backyard.
There were several maids in the midst of cleaning the yard. When they saw her, their gaze turned strange.
A group of bodyguards who were on patrol walked past her gallantly.

Fang Xinxin found their behavior to be weird. She brought her small mirror out to look at her own reflection. As per normal, her skin was covered in medicine and her true appearance was not showing.
Why were these bodyguards and maids looking at her weirdly?

She approached a corner of the yard and suddenly heard two maids conversing.

The other maid was very interested in this piece of gossip. “If Young Master brought a beautiful woman home, does that mean that Fang Xinxin, the ugly bitch, is about to be forced off the stage?”

“The Yu Ting Villa is so big. Even if Fang Xinxin is staying here, Young Master can make it happen that she’ll never find out about it.”
Fang Xinxin began to understand the matter. It turned out that the bodyguards and maids had mistaken the woman whom Bai Qinghao brought home today to be someone else. They assumed that she was about to lose her position.
It was no wonder that some of them had looked at her in sympathy.

“Regardless of whether or not I’m ugly, appearances aren’t something anyone can control.” Fang Xinxin’s expression was cold. “It’s fine if you wish to gossip. But as a subordinate, how could you run your mouth off like that? Calling your female master ‘ugly’?”
One of the maids saw that there wasn’t anyone else around. So she became bold and mocked her. “‘Female master’? You’re about to be chased out of this place. How could our young master possibly take a liking to such an ugly woman? Compared to you, it’s more likely that he’ll take a liking to me.”

The maid glared at her harshly. “You actually dared to hit me?”
She had been long jealous of this ugly bitch for having the young master’s love. She felt that she was much more beautiful than Fang Xinxin. On what basis did she deserve the young master’s love?
