Gu Linyuan did not mention their 4,50,000 USD deal in front of Bai Qinghao. Since Director Gu did not bring it up, Fang Xinxin also kept silent about it.
Sitting in the car, Bai Qinghao said expressionlessly, “My grandfather and Elder Gu were sworn brothers. Ever since the two of them passed away, my father barely interacted with Gu Linyuan. Right now, our families are considered to be near strangers. However, considering the two elder’s friendship, I won’t stand on the side and watch when I can help.”

As they drove past a stock exchange building, Fang Xinxin asked him. “Can we stop the car here for a while?”
Liu Li glanced at his commander through the rearview mirror.
Bai Qinghao nodded and Liu Li responded by stopping the car by the roadside.
Fang Xinxin alighted and headed for the building’s lobby. She returned ten minutes later and told him. “I went to open a few accounts.”
A hint of surprise flashed past Bai Qinghao’s ink-black pupils. “You’re interested in investing in stocks?”
“En.” She nodded.
She was well-versed and experienced enough in the dealing of the financial market.
