He paused for a moment before adding. “Could it be that you’re relying on Bai Qinghao’s influence to bully others?”
“This is unrelated to Bai Qinghao.” Fang Xinxin smiled coldly. “As Jiamu’s friend, I have the right to protect her from danger.”
“You speak as if I would harm her. I’m her boyfriend. I’ll always be the first to protect her.”
Fang Xinxin pointed out coldly, “If she is completely fine and only asleep, why would she remain asleep despite our conversation?”

Fang Xinxin took this opportunity to lift Sun Jiamu’s skirt.

She covered her skirt properly and gently patted her face. “Jiamu, wake up!”
She patted her a few times but did not receive any reaction.
She immediately glared at Feng Dongkai. “What did you feed her?”
Feng Dongkai stood up from the ground in a sorry figure. His expression was filled with rage as he considered killing Fang Xinxin.
However, he quickly recalled that she was Bai Qinghao’s fiancée and did not dare to act lightly. “She is just sleeping deeply. I didn’t feed her anything.”

She held onto Fang Xinxin’s hands tightly and requested. “Don’t leave. Stay here with me.”
“Alright, I won’t leave,” Fang Xinxin promised.
Sun Jiamu relaxed finally.
Feng Dongkai approached the bed and gently addressed Jiamu,. “Mumu, you’re awake. Do you feel any discomfort?”
“Go away!” Sun Jiamu had also noticed something to be amiss.
“What’s wrong, Mumu?” Feng Dongkai appeared confused. “You were fine earlier. Why are you suddenly upset at me?”
Sun Jiamu struggled to explain this as well.
A hint of hurt appeared in Feng Dongkai’s charming expression. “Just because your friend doesn’t like me, your attitude towards me has changed.”
“No…” She felt that something wasn’t right about Feng Dongkai.
Fang Xinxin carefully examined Sun Jiamu’s complexion before asking. “My dear, do you feel especially weak and tired? You can’t even raise your hand, can you?”
“Yes.” Jiamu nodded.
Fang Xinxin’s expression turned heavy. “Those are the symptoms of having taken sleeping pills.”
“But I didn’t take any…”
Feng Dongkai also rushed to say, “Jiamu and I didn’t share anything to eat today.”
Fang Xinxin continued asking Sun Jiamu. “After Feng Dongkai came here, did he come into contact with anything you ate or drank?”
