Sun Jiamu immediately turned pale. She had really consumed sleeping pills while she was unaware!
Fang Xinxin supported the silent Sun Jiamu out of the hospital.
As they walked along the streets, Feng Dongkai rushed to catch up with them.
He tugged on Sun Jiamu’s arm. “Mumu, listen to me. Even if you’ve consumed sleeping pills, it doesn’t mean that it’s related to me…”

She said she had wanted to send me to the hospital when she saw that I was feeling unwell, but you lied to her that you had already taken me to a doctor. You even sent her to a hospital that was two hours away to buy medicine. You say, when did you take me to a doctor? What did you plan on doing to me when there was no one else at home?”
Feng Dongkai had already planned out his explanation.
He put on a heartbroken expression. “Mumu, listen to me. The only reason I sent Auntie Ji away was because I wanted to take good care of you myself. I swear, I would never do anything to you while you’re asleep. Ever since Fang Xinxin spoke poorly of me yesterday, I can clearly tell that your attitude towards me has changed.”
Fang Xinxin sneered from the side. “In that case, it seems like I’m in the wrong for pointing out your mistakes?”
Feng Dongkai paid no attention to Fang Xinxin, the ugly whore whose face appeared to be covered in something.
He rushed to say to Sun Jiamu. “I swear, I only wanted to spend some time alone with you in those two hours.”
“Jiamu, do you believe in his vow?” Fang Xinxin asked her.
Sun Jiamu shook her head. “I don’t. If it were me, I would never feed the person, whom I love the most, any medicine that would harm them while they were unaware.”
“How harmful can sleeping pills be?” Feng Dongkai was a little frustrated.
Sun Jiamu stared at him with wide eyes. “So you’re admitting that you were the person who fed me the sleeping pills!”
Feng Dongkai was fearless. “I already said it wasn’t me. You’re blaming me just because I wasn’t by your side at the time?”
He then glared harshly at Fang Xinxin. “What about her? She was there when you woke up. There were only the three of us in that home. Couldn’t it have been Fang Xinxin?”
“There’s no reason for her to do such a thing!” Sun Jiamu raised her voice.
“There is!” Feng Dongkai responded in anger. “She wants to tear us apart and is willing to use whatever means she has to wrong me! That’s her reason!”
Fang Xinxin could not help but admire Feng Dongkai. “Interesting, really interesting. How did I become the bad person here?”
Feng Dongkai glanced at Fang Xinxin and asked weakly. “Miss Fang, I’ve never ever offended you. Why do you insist on breaking up Jiamu and I? Don’t you know? We are both compatible in terms of family background, education, talent, and many other areas. It could be said that we’re a match made in heaven.”
Fang Xinxin could not say openly that in her past life, she had seen how unfortunate Sun Jiamu was, to be with this beast.
