She turned to Bai Qinghao with a sigh. “Bai Qinghao, I’m really too kind. My second sister told me that she loves you, and that she cannot live without you. She then begged me to give you up for her sake. She wanted you to dislike me, so she begged me to go confess to Bai Chenxi. I naturally refused her, but she threw a big tantrum and cried endlessly. She even said she would kill herself if I didn’t agree. I was frightened that she would really do something so silly… My heart ached for her. Hence, I decided to agree to her request and go against my own feelings to confess to Bai Chenxi.”
