“Grandmother, did you wake up very early to make noodles for me?”
“I make you noodles every year…for long life,” Grandmother replied with a smile.

“The college entrance examinations are in a few days. Can you not think about such nonsense? If you have the time to gossip here, you might as well go and do a few more practice papers.”
Li Xiaohui looked upset at Ye Tianxin’s words. “Ye Tianxin, can you not be like the teachers and talk about the college entrance exams every day?” Li Xiaohui replied. “Whenever I hear the words ‘college entrance examinations’, my heart beats really, really fast. I think I might have a heart attack.”
