“The girl has already made her decision. Yiyan, can’t we look for another girl?”
Qie Yiyan shook his head. No, it could only be her.
Only she could fulfill Xingqing’s dream.

There was no changing Qie Yiyan’s mind.
“Qie Yiyan, you have to know that she isn’t Xingqing.”
“Uncle, I know that she isn’t Xingqing. I know very well that she isn’t my Xingqing.”
Xie Xuning let out a long sigh.
He said, “You know that Li Qingcang is very protective of her. You would have to deal with Li Qingcang as well.”
“Uncle, I can’t give up just because of Li Qingcang. A good student is worth the wait.”
Xie Xuning replied softly, “Then I will try to help you persuade Li Qingcang. As for whether I will succeed, I can’t guarantee it.”

Xie Xuning turned around, took out his phone, and called Li Qingcang.

“Qingcang, this is Xie Xuning. Have a drink with me tonight.”

“I also booked a room for you in the hotel. You can come directly in a while.”

“I booked a spa for the girl you’re with, lest she becomes bored while we drink.”

After Li Qingcang hung up, he said to Ye Tianxin, “My uncle asked me to have a drink with him. I’ll accompany him later. You can go to the spa as we talk.”

“Then don’t drink until you can’t handle it,” Ye Tianxin warned worriedly.
Li Qingcang smiled. “Tianxin, why are you so worried? Smile, okay?”
Ye Tianxin then made funny faces.
“Silly!”
“I know I’m silly!”
Li Qingcang couldn’t laugh anymore. He knew that being silly wasn’t a compliment.
He also knew what kind of environment a person called “silly” lived in since childhood. Thus, how could a girl like Ye Tianxin be silly and sweet?
Thinking of this, Li Qingcang felt sorry for her even more.
He wanted to give her everything…to protect her and take care of her.
