Du Juan was wearing a pair of jeans, a T-shirt, and a sweater today.
Her face looked haggard, and she had dark circles under her eyes.

Just as the staff prepared the microphones for Ye Tianxin and Li Qingcang, Du Juan, who was standing talking to a dancer in the distance, suddenly fainted.
Ye Tianxin and Li Qingcang rushed to Du Juan’s side at the same time. Director Jin helped Du Juan to sit up.
“Xiao Li, can you help me drive her to the hospital? Xiao Tan, I will leave the rest of the work with you.”
Director Jin then carried Du Juan and rushed outside. Ye Tianxin and Li Qingcang followed.
They got in the car and went to the hospital.
Ye Tianxin’s heart was filled with anxiety, and she held Li Qingcang’s hand.
Panic was almost suffocating her.
After giving Du Juan a full-body examination, the doctor said to Director Jin, “Didn’t I tell you? You can’t let her work too hard. What kind of husband are you?”
“Doctor, what’s wrong with my mom?” Ye Tianxin’s hands were trembling uncontrollably.
The doctor glanced at Ye Tianxin and said, “You are her daughter? Your mother has stomach cancer. Didn’t you know?”
Hearing the words “stomach cancer” dealt a heavy blow to Ye Tianxin. Her mind seemed to go blank for a moment.
Cancer?
At the current time in medicine, it was impossible to cure cancer.
Almost everyone became terrified upon hearing the mention of cancer, and Ye Tianxin was no exception.
“I didn’t know anything about it.”
Ye Tianxin started weeping uncontrollably.
The doctor glanced at Ye Tianxin’s tears with some sympathy. He said, “The situation is not as serious as we were previously afraid it was, but the patient does not cooperate and follow the doctor’s treatments.”
“Can it be cured?” Ye Tianxin asked hoarsely.
Director Jin said, “Two-thirds of her stomach has to be cut out.”
“Godfather, you already knew about this. Why didn’t you tell me?”
Ye Tianxin’s tears continued to fall. If she had known that Du Juan was in such bad health, she would have used her spare time to help ease Du Juan’s workload.
Even a grown man like Director Jin had shed some tears. He wiped away his tears now and said in a low voice, “Du Juan wouldn’t let me tell you.”
“You have to advise the patient to have the operation as soon as possible. Cancer cells spread a lot faster than you can even imagine.”
Ye Tianxin nodded. She had to persuade Du Juan to undergo surgery as soon as possible no matter what she tried to say to argue against it.
When Du Juan woke up, she found herself in the hospital and saw Ye Tianxin holding her hand. She immediately comforted her, saying, “Tianxin, I’m fine.”
“Godmother, let me introduce someone to you.”
Ye Tianxin had originally wanted to wait for the movie premiere to give Du Juan a surprise.
