Chapter 691: A limit on spoiling your daughter
“Xie Xuning, do you even know how to be a proper father? There should be a limit on spoiling your daughter. Is there any other father out there who spoils their own daughter as much as you do?”
Wu Tong heard from Li Xingchen that Ye Tianxin had actually visited Country Y along with Xie Xinghe. She could feel her temples bulging.
“Do you even know how much Tianxin has suffered in the past? If you were her father, you’d spoil and treat her like a little princess.”
Wu Tong’s angry expression made Xie Xuning feel the need to provoke her.
Xie Xuning thought Ye Tianxin would’ve been fortunate to not have to face such problems such as dealing with the mother-in-law issue.
“I’ve heard that you weren’t fond of Tianxin before. Is that true?”
Wu Tong’s face instantly turned red. She obviously couldn’t lie that she had never said anything like this.
“Well yeah, it’s true that I didn’t like her that much. Just think about it: if your son brought home a girl and she said, ‘I know I don’t deserve your son now, but give me a few years to grow into the woman who can definitely be worthy of your son.’ I mean…”
Xie Xuning snorted. He felt that his daughter said nothing wrong.
“I think Tianxin made a decent point.”
Wu Tong couldn’t bear to revisit her dark past, but she felt the need to set the record straight with Xie Xuning. Otherwise, he would’ve thought that she had something against Tianxin. What would’ve happened if this affected her son’s marriage with Tianxin?

Wu Tong pulled back a chair and sat across Xie Xuning. She said, “Think about it, Xiao Cang has always been the star kid growing up until he suddenly brought this girl back home with him. Xie Xuning felt a pain in his heart when he realized that some people would’ve been appalled by his daughter.

He blamed himself and thought it was all his fault that his daughter went through something like this.
If he had protected his daughter properly back then, would she still have experienced such a situation?

Xie Xuning then sincerely said to Wu Tong, “Thank you for treating Tianxin so lovingly.”

After Xie Xingqing was injected with the medicine last time, he didn’t pay any attention to Xie Xingqing since then.
