“Stop, I have something to ask your sect leader.” Gongxi Kuangdao had already lowered his head once, so lowering his head again wasn’t that big of a deal anymore.
“Don’t do anything, we’re on the same side.” Ling Chuxi called out to Lan Xinyu and the others.
“On the same side?” Lan Xinyu was a bit confused. They had been fighting so hard just a few days ago, so when did they become on the same side?

“Sect Leader, when are you going to start learning the forging techniques of our Gongxi clan?”Gongxi Kuangdao had no interest in being Ling Chuxi’s fighter. He only hoped that she would learn the forging techniques as soon as possible and fulfil her promise to detoxify them so they can leave.
Lan Xinyu and the others were not surprised by Gongxi Kuangdao’s words. Though they had no idea what forging techniques he was talking about, even if they did, they would still be unaffected. After all, Ling Chuxi was basically synonymous with miracles and unexpectedness. They had already grown numb to being surprised by her.
Duan Feiyu, on the other hand, was stunned. Something was not right. When did the Gongxi Kuangdao become so easy to talk to? It seemed like they were eager for Ling Chuxi to learn forging techniques from them. Was this really the legendary Gongxi clan? Or was the rumour wrong?
“I’m not in a hurry, so why are you in a hurry? I can learn it along the way,” said Ling Chuxi.
‘Well, it’s because I’m the one who was poisoned. So how can I not be in a hurry? If you were poisoned, you might be even more anxious than me,’ Gongxi Kuangdao cursed in his heart, but he did not dare to say it out loud.
“Sect Leader, why don’t I teach you some of the secret techniques first? You can try to figure it out the rest yourself along the way.” Gongxi Kuangdao only needed to think about the taste of the poison and his head would break out in cold sweat; his entire body would shiver and he wouldn’t even be able to sleep soundly. He only hoped that Ling Chuxi could learn forging as soon as possible so he could escape from the sea of bitterness as soon as possible.
Duan Feiyu was so shocked that his eyeballs were about to fall out. His guess was right. Gongxi Kuangdao was begging Ling Chuxi to learn it. Could it be that the Gongxi clan’s talents had declined to such an extent that they had no successor to their ancestral forging techniques?
