Chapter 136: Just Ask Me, I Beg You
Ling Yichen quietly turned his head slightly as an expression of awkwardness appeared on his face. Were those words also scolding him offhandedly? He had indeed thought that it was two gangsters molesting a good woman. He did not notice that it was a trap. Were Ling Chuxi’s words scolding him for being an idiot…?
Ling Chuxi looked at the two men in black with an ice cold look. Who sent them to deal with her and Ling Yichen?
If she hadn’t noticed that there was something off about the look in the woman’s eyes, Ling Chuxi would have fallen for their trick too. When the woman looked at the two of them, she had looked surprised. But it was not the happiness and relief of someone about to be saved, but rather the joy of success!

His gaze turned ice cold. To actually want their lives… who exactly were these two men in black?!
“Don’t come over. Don’t. We’ll tell! We’ll tell you everything!” cried the men.
Seeing that they were about to fail and knowing that they were no match for Ling Chuxi and Ling Yichen, the two men anxiously tried to stop them. However, the second Ling Yichen and Ling Chuxi hesitated slightly, they immediately turned around and sprinted away. They did not even bother about the woman lying on the ground.
Ling Yichen snorted. His sword had already left its sheath as he flew forward. With a mid-air flip, he landed before the two men. Raising his foot, he kicked one of them down, while his sharp sword was already pressed against the other man’s throat.
“Elder brother, why are you in such a rush?” asked Ling Chuxi.
She smiled brilliantly as she bent down to pick up the dagger the woman dropped. Then, she walked over and squatted in front of the man Ling Yichen kicked.
“I won’t say anything,” said the man ‘unyieldingly’, his expression turning scary.
“Oh, it’s not like I’m asking you. What are you so agitated for?”
Ling Chuxi played with the dagger in her hands, swinging it back and forth in front of the man.
With an extremely pure and innocent smile on her face, she spoke in a tone that was somewhat ignorant, “Tell me, if this dagger were to lightly cut across your face, what would happen? Will your face rot?”
“You, you…”
The back of the man lying on the ground started to tingle when he saw the brilliant smile on Ling Chuxi’s pretty face and heard her pleasant voice speaking such words so calmly. Too scary! “Hm? I didn’t ask you. Why are you talking about it?” said Ling Chuxi seriously, still playing with the dagger in her hand.
“Ask me. I beg you. Ask me. Quickly ask me. I’ll tell you everything.”
The man was so scared that he was about to wet himself. That poison-smeared dagger was so very close to his face. He did not wish to die yet.
Without waiting for Ling Chuxi to speak, he started wailing, “We are just people who accept money to destroy people on others’ behalf. That’s all. It was the Luo family from Shi Qu Town who asked us to get rid of you guys.”
