Chapter 342: Another Foodie
Ling Chuxi swiftly made the Beggar’s Chicken, then felt around her surroundings cautiously. She stared at the direction she had come from with narrowed eyes. That old pervert would appear from that direction to chase her in a bit. ‘Let’s see how long he takes this time.’
The Beggar’s Chicken was almost ready. Ling Chuxi dug it out and dusted off the dirt, and was about to eat it when she suddenly heard a sound from her right. She whipped around and saw a delicate, pretty young girl dressed in light purple staring at the roasted chicken in her hand.
Ling Chuxi was stunned. Why was there such a girl in this remote forest? Furthermore, she was sure that when she was looking for the wild chicken, she had felt no one around her. Where did this girl come from?
The girl dressed in purple stared at the Beggar’s Chicken in Ling Chuxi’s hand unblinkingly. The meaning in her eyes was clear: I want to eat it. However, she did not speak and only stared at the Beggar’s Chicken in Ling Chuxi’s hands. It was a situation that was quite similar to when she had met Little White back then. This time, Ling Chuxi was grateful that Little White was not around. It would have been very inconvenient to bring him along when she was busy running for her life.
Ling Chuxi smiled and tore off a chicken thigh, then gave it to the girl. “For you. My treat.”

This girl’s eyes were bright and honest; what she said really came from her heart. Ling Chuxi also realized that this girl was a foodie too! She had immediately gobbled up the chicken thigh in her hand, then stared at the remaining parts of the chicken in Ling Chuxi’s hand.
Ling Chuxi silently sighed as she broke off the other chicken thigh and gave it to Mo Qingyi. Mo Qingyi happily accepted it and wolfed it down with gusto. Ling Chuxi also ate fast and said as she ate, “You should leave this place quickly. It is very dangerous.” That old pervert was still chasing her and if he somehow caught up with her, it would be terrible if Mo Qingyi got hurt too. She could not protect Mo Qingyi and she could tell that Mo Qingyi did not know martial arts. She was a girl that was so ordinary that she couldn’t possibly get anymore ordinary. As to why she had appeared, well, Ling Chuxi hadn’t exactly figured that out yet.
“Dangerous? Why is it dangerous?” Mo Qingyi raised her head to look at Ling Chuxi in confusion. “That’s right, you still haven’t told me what your name is. You really are a good person!”
‘The girl is still worrying over my name even though this was merely a chance encounter.’ Despite thinking that, Ling Chuxi still replied, “I am called Ling Chuxi.”
“Your name sounds really nice. I’ll just call you Younger Sister Chuxi.” Mo Qingyi licked her lips, as if still savoring the taste as she asked, “Why are you here? Do you want to follow me home to play?”
“I am being hunted, so you should leave quickly,” Ling Chuxi said somewhat helplessly. Did this mysterious girl have to use such an honest gaze? Although she was inviting her to play, the look in her eyes was more to ‘come to my house to make good food for me’. This girl called Mo Qingyi had her thoughts written on her face and was truly a little too naïve.
