The tone of Ling Chuxi’s voice was sharp and was somewhat majestic. Everyone could not help but abide by it and retreat to the side.
Su Yanhua had a panicked expression on his face, yet he was forced to a dead end by his own doing. If Su Yanjin had just died like this, everyone would know that his death was caused by Su Yanhua. He dared not even imagine what the consequences would be. Su Yanhua could only brace himself to try and rectify this. He used his Battle Qi and prepare to tap his fingers upon Su Yanjin’s wounds once more.
“Stop! He will definitely die if you continue to tap out the method like that!” Ling Chuxi shouted harshly.
Su Yanhua wanted to refute her rebuke initially after he was reprimanded by Ling Chuxi as though by an elder. But after seeing her absolutely beautiful appearance suddenly turn cold, he stopped his actions.
Ling Chuxi did not want to quarrel with him as well. After instructing him to back off, she bent down immediately and hurriedly began tapping across each part of Su Yanjin’s chest with finger movements as quick as lightning.
Her finger method was hugely different from Su Yizhi’s. Amidst its lightness, agility and elegance, there was a sense of beauty that made one’s heart cheerful and one’s spirit happy. Little sparks of Battle Qi flashed between her fingers resembling a dragonfly sweeping across the surface of clear waters. It was an eye-catching sight that only left behind wonderful ripples.
Looking at her either tapping or pressing her fingers with such a unique method of guiding her threads of Battle Qi by either pricking, picking and pulling or by hooking one thread of Battle Qi to another. Looking at the rapidly circling ripples of her Battle Qi, all of the disciples of the Su Family were shocked silly. Even Su Yanhua was shocked silly.
This was indeed the Seven Strings Finger Method of the Su Family that originated from the Golden Pill Sect. But even Su Yanhua who was the best amongst the descendants of the Su Family at using the method, was not as precise and carefree in its application as Ling Chuxi. One had to know that Su Yanhua practiced bitterly for fifteen long years, and Ling Chuxi’s skills were only developed from when she joined the Golden Pill Sect a few days ago. How was it possible that she was already so adept at using the Seven Strings Finger Method?
Of course, no one would have known that Ling Chuxi had actually already learnt the Seven Strings Finger Method before, long ago in another world. It had turned out that what she had learnt were actually skills that were passed down in the same line as the Su Family’s finger method. Looking at Ling Chuxi’s application of the finger method, which was exquisite beyond comparison, the disciples of the Su Family could not help but hold her method in comparison to First Grandfather’s method. They actually came to a conclusion that even they themselves were shocked by and were even more unwilling to admit that Ling Chuxi’s application of the Seven Strings Finger Method was even more exquisite than First Grandfather’s.
After all, as they have been educated in medical skills since they were young, even if their own cultivation was not that good, their insight would not be too far off. Anyone could see that by now, Su Yanjin truly no longer had any worries for his life. Su Yanhua’s heart which had been perturbed finally landed back in its original place.
“Carry him inside first,” said Ling Chuxi as she stood up. She felt a little tired. This Seven Strings Finger Method was shockingly exhausting in regard to one’s Battle Qi and energy. If not for her cultivation being at the Intermediate Stage of the realm of Great Fulfilment, she really would not be able to handle it.
Two young men immediately carried Su Yanjin inside, but the other people stood rooted to the spot. As they looked at Ling Chuxi, their faces filled with gratitude and admiration. But out of guilt, they did not know what to say. They were throwing insults and sarcastic remarks at her earlier on. If they went up so quickly to express their gratitude and to apologize, they felt that it was rather quite embarrassing for them.
“Miss Ling, I’m sorry. I apologize for the words I said earlier. I had eyes but could not see before this.” After keeping silent for what felt like half a day, Su Yanhua finally opened his mouth and apologized. If not for Ling Chuxi stretching out her hand this time, Su Yanjin would definitely have died without any doubt. Ling Chuxi had saved Su Yanjin, and thus had saved him too actually.
