Chapter 627: Love and Hatred
“You really feel he’s that amazing?” Huangfu Qingjue asked with a slight frown.
“Yes,” replied Ling Chuxi with a nod.
“Really?” Huangfu Qingjue asked again with a frown.
Ling Chuxi finally realized with a start that something was not quite right. Huangfu Qingjue’s attitude right now… Why did it seem like he was being jealous? Was the usually strong, calm and confident Haungfu Qingjue at this moment acting defensively to hide his jealousy? Was this for real? “That’s it?” Ling Chuxi asked with dissatisfaction.
“Yes, that’s it. He died. End of story,” Huangfu Qingjue replied.
“How did he die?” asked Ling Chuxi as the corners of her lips twitched, full of dissatisfaction.
“He was ambushed by people,” replied Huangfu Qingjue, looking at Ling Chuxi with an odd gaze. Didn’t he make it very clear when he told the story?
Ling Chuxi finally understood. It turns out that Huangfu Qingjue was not without weaknesses after all. At the very least, he did not seem to be able to tell a story well.

Although Huangfu Qingjue explained these things in a very simple manner, Ling Chuxi was still able to imagine how tragic and how poignant Cang Yuan’s story was back then.
