Waves of wind blew as the demon emperor and his guards slowly started to stir. As the demon emperor’s cultivation was the strongest, he was the first to awaken with a lost look in his eyes.

“Remember, even if I am not around, be sure to cultivate properly. The hope of the entire monster beast clan rests on you,” said the demon emperor with finality. Then, he quickly went forward without looking back.
Zhen Ye and the guards sunk to their knees at the same time, their faces unknowingly streaked with tears. Xiao Rou’s face was even more streaked with tears. They had all already received a demonstration of how powerful that sword was and could tell by the demon emperor’s determined actions that he would definitely die.
Upon hearing the demon emperor giving what he thought would be his final speech, Ling Chuxi was a little tempted to laugh. This demon emperor was truly scared silly by the Cang Yuan Sword. The demon emperor was stunned. Even Zhen Ye who was shedding tears just a moment ago forgot his tears and widened his eyes, also shocked silly.
The Cang Yuan Sword shattered. The Cang Yuan Sword which they had been awaiting for ten thousand years had shattered just like that, turning into a pile of powder which had disappeared with the wind. Their chance which had finally arrived after ten thousand years had also thus disappeared.
Seeing the scene before their eyes, the demon emperor and the rest were lost, sorrowful, depressed and in despair.
Only Ling Chuxi and Huangfu Qingjue remained calm. It was unknown how old that sword truly was.
