If I had done the blood offering only for the suppression to be removed at the same time, wouldn’t that have been the greatest joke under the sky?” said the demon emperor as he laughed loudly. Actually, he was willing to perform the blood offering to obtain Huangfu Qingjue’s favor anyway. Therefore, there was totally no need for Huangfu Qingjue and Ling Chuxi to thank him. Additionally, he was saying this was obviously as a sign of goodwill towards Huangfu Qingjue.
“For us to have been able to meet at this crucial moment was our fate. If in the future, the both of you have need for us, feel free to ask,” continued the demon emperor.
“Then, we shall not be too courteous. We bid you farewell for now,” Huangfu Qingjue said to the demon emperor.
Huangfu Qingjue held Ling Chuxi’s hand as the two of them walked through the arched gate. With the swaying of their figures, they then disappeared.
“Let’s go, we should also return,” said the demon emperor after he watched Huangfu Qingjue and Ling Chuxi walk through the gate. He then turned around and began walking back towards the valley with a refined and carefree intent in his figure.
With a mere tip of his toe, he had advanced to more than a hundred feet away. His guards tried their best to speed up and follow closely behind him.
Zhen Ye took a few steps before coming to a stop, hesitating without moving forward.
“Young Master, what’s wrong?” asked Xiao Rou, looking at Zhen Ye oddly when he saw that Zhen Ye was not moving.
“I want to go out to take a look again,” replied Zhen Ye, looking at the arched gate which had yet to disappear.
“Young Master, you can’t. The last time you went out on your own, we were almost beaten to death,” said Xiao Rou, instantly losing the color in his face.
“Young Master, you aren’t thinking of taking revenge, are you?” asked Big Black Face as he looked at Zhen Ye with his head tilted to one side. Then, he continued speaking in a comforting tone, “Actually, I also don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Weren’t you just pinched a couple of times? If you want to vent your frustrations, you can just pinch me a couple of times as well.” Big Black Face even offered up his butt as he spoke.
“Thud!” A large foot whammed onto Big Black Face’s butt and his big figure was sent hurtling like a stone launched from a catapult.
“No one is allowed to bring up that matter again. Otherwise, I will skin you and boil you down into a stew,” snarled Zhen Ye, his face red with a murderous aura.
“Oh,” said Big Black Face as he rubbed his butt aggrievedly. ‘I was kindly letting you pinch me a few times so you can vent your anger, what are you kicking me for?’ thought Big Black Face to himself.
“I have decided. I must go out to take a look again. The last time I got injured and did not even manage to enter the countries of humans before having to rush back. This time I can’t miss this opportunity.” Once Zhen Ye finished speaking, he directly walked through the arched gate without turning back. Though his cultivation was insufficient, it was unknown when his demon emperor bloodline would awaken, and the last time he had ventured out he was severely injured to the point of reverting to his original form since he had to forcefully break open the array core, this was still a great opportunity that had appeared right before him, so no matter what, he was unwilling to let it pass.

“Why don’t we just go and take a look as well? said Big Black Face happily.

“But this…” Xiao Rou hesitated. ‘The young master has left yet again. If the others found out about this, how badly would both me and Big Black Face be beaten?
