“Hmph!” Suddenly, a bright light appeared and a golden whip that looked like a snake lashed at the sword. The young maiden’s hand trembled, and before she could grip the sword tightly, the golden whip reared back as if it was alive, snatching the sword from her hand and impaling it into the earthen wall opposite them.

The young maiden’s fingers were still trembling as she looked at the sword hilt outside the wall, stunned.
