Chapter 783: Loyalty
The forest was quiet and only the echoing of Xiao Rou’s voice could be heard.
“Hey, we are going to burn this forest! Come out now, I know you’re there watching us!” Xiao Rou stomped his feet and shouted loudly again.
“Oh my, where did this spicy little lady come from? You’re just my type! Why don’t you stay behind and live with me? If you do, I’ll let your friends go…” A skinny man with a pointy mouth slowly walked out of the forest. A Level 8 monster beast! Monster beasts could only take human form after reaching Level 8, and all of them could tell that this was a monster beast that had just been promoted to Level 8.
“This spicy lady is going to beat you up till flowers bloom on your face!” Xiao Rou exploded, furious after being teased so many times. Being teased by humans was bad enough, but now he was even being teased by his own kind! It was unbearable! Without waiting for Zhen Ye and Big Dark Face to speak, Xiao Rou lunged at the man with a roar.
After that, everything became chaotic. Zhen Ye was not the least bit worried about Xiao Rou though. If Xiao Rou could not even defeat this monster beast, he could just commit suicide to apologize.
Zhen Ye leisurely went to sit on a big rock and Big Dark Face immediately went over to offer some luscious red fruits to Zhen Ye.
Not long after, Xiao Rou’s foot pressed down on the skinny man’s back as he spat, “I’ll blind those useless eyes of yours! Do you know who we are? Why aren’t you greeting Lord Young Master?!”
“Wh-what?” The skinny man’s eyes had swelled up, and he squinted at Zhen Ye in confusion.
Zhen Ye glanced at the skinny man and saw that his original form was actually also a snake. However, he did not have any special blood lines and was different from Xiao Rou. To have been able to cultivate to this level on his own was truly not easy.
Zhen Ye slowly released his majestic suppression as he continued to calmly eat the fruit in his hand.
The skinny man’s face went pale, and he whimpered, “Y-You… Is this for real?”
“That’s right! Quickly greet Lord Young Master, you idiot!” Xiao Rou stepped down onto the skinny man’s back and snarled.

“Ahem, ahem, it is Young Master! Lord Demon Emperor will come out later,” Big Dark Face coughed awkwardly and emphasized.
“Young master!” The skinny man howled, tears running down his cheeks. “I have waited for this day for so long! How many years has it been? I have been longing for us monster beasts to see the light of day again and kill all the humans! Young master, I am called Black Shadow. I will be at your beck and call, just give me any instructions you want.” The skinny man called Black Shadow became even more excited.
“Oh, beck and call, that’s easy to say.” Zhen Ye had his nose in the air, looking bored. Eventually, he narrowed his eyes at the skinny man and said slowly, “Let me ask you a question first—Do you know where the former site of the Golden Pill Sect is?”
“The Golden Pill Sect? Ah, of course I know it! Young master, are you taking action there first? Hahaha that is good too! We will start our bloody battle path from there. Let’s kill every single one of those stupid humans!
