“What are we going to Green Jade Lake for?” Ling Chuxi asked, baffled.

You can’t just name things by how they look, there should at least be some poetic meaning behind it!’ She didn’t dare to say it out loud though. When she ran to the side of Green Jade Lake, Ling Chuxi was stunned to see a big crowd gathered there. What was going on?! They had weapons in their hands, but they were not swords—they were fishing rods, wires, shelves, firewood and other such things! “I thought someone came to provoke us or conquer this area…” Ling Chuxi tried to explain feebly.

When the Golden Pill Sect is strong, I will become its main protector, and take people to other sects to tear down their places.” Lan Xinyu laughed proudly, so immersed in her own grandiose delusions that she forgot about Ling Chuxi’s question.
