“Okay, stop licking it. It’s not dirty.” Ling Chuxi took the insignia and looked at it for a long time, but she didn’t find anything strange about it. She gave up and finally put it away.
Although she still hadn’t realized the secret behind the insignia, the Gold Glass Beast’s behaviour earlier confirmed Wei Zhixuan’s claim in the past: there was definitely more to this insignia than it seemed. In the future, she would find time to slowly reveal its secrets.
But the little beast would not have it. Its reaction was akin to a little child throwing a tantrum when his favourite toy had been taken away. The little beast started to chirp and circle around Ling Chuxi’s feet anxiously.
“Okay, I’ll let you play with it when we get back.” Ling Chuxi found the Gold Glass Beast’s reaction a little funny before she picked it back up and stroked it affectionately.
